These are a very cool idea, but the fact that you order and then they randomly choose which one you get is incredibly stupid.

If I see a product I want, I should be able to purchase the product. Not put into some sort of lottery for it.

I was interested in these because of the headlock one (I thought it looked the best), but ended up with a red leglock.

It's a stupid practice most likely brought on by the fact that they wouldn't be able to sell many of them, because they just aren't as cool as others. They shouldn't punish the customer for this though, when I purchase something, I want to know what I'm getting.

Cool product, with a stupid policy for selling them.

I thought my life was complete. I am a successful businessman, I have a wonderful family and three great dogs. I was wrong. The Kikkerland Luchador Bottle Opener in red was designed to open bottles but it opened a place in my heart. I bought this fully understanding that I would not be able to choose which color/position that I wanted. I was hoping for the red one, but wound up with the blue one. My husband loved it though...

The problem is that the blue one with it's arms in a circle in front of him is really hard to use. We had a party and by the end of the night, his head was almost broken off because it was so hard to use.

It turned out to be more of a bummer than fun, and since we're afraid of completely severing the poor guy's head, he's in the drawer, probably never to be used again....

That said, I love Kikkerland products, but this was a fail. Perhaps if the poor luchador's head wasn't so close to the bottle opener part, he would have lived longer than a day....

This is a unique bottle opener and a great novelty gift. Obviously there are better openers out there but if you want something that your friends will get a kick, or should I say grapple, out of, this is it.

Not as sturdy as I imagined. The fact that the color and style of your bottle opener is randomized is also a bit of a letdown. But other than that, this is a great Xmas gift for my dad and I just hope it doesn't break soon.

You cant choose the color or the pose that the luchador comes in.
I thought I was getting the red one with the bottle opener between his legs.
got a blue one with the stance of the black one pictured on here.

I ordered this thinking I had selected the luchador with the opener between his legs. Apparently, they're "assorted" which means you'll get a random pick out of the different versions. This was my bad, I did not read it correctly. The one I received was a blue luchador with the opener in front of him between his arms, and I didn't think that one was as fun. Wish I could have chosen which version I wanted. I got this for a gag gift, and when I told someone which one I was expecting versus the one I received, they agreed that the red one in the picture would have been way better. Otherwise, still a hilarious idea, and I'm satisfied.
