This is an exaggerated photo. There is absolutely no way this organizer will hold anything but very small pieces - and I do mean very small pieces of glass. The concept is good - so I just bought some 1x2's and some dowel's and made my own. This is acceptable for holding paper - but not glass.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little afraid this might be too flimsy, but it's fine for what I need. Don't expect to have it hold huge pieces of glass, but I really needed it to keep track of 6-12 inch pieces. By standing the pieces up and letting light behind them, you can see the colors without having to pick up the pieces.

I did glue the rubber tips onto the ends of the vertical bars. One of the bars was bent a little which is very noticeable given so many side by side - sort of like a birthday cake with one or two candle that don't stand up straight, but it doesn't impact the functionality. I'll probably buy another one when I have more glass.

I purchased 2 of these to hold stained glass sheets. I love the concept but in reality it is hard to get the glass in and out of the slots without being cut or banging up the glass. You need to be very careful. It is better when used with only one piece of glass in each section because you can slide the glass in and out easier. I did glue the little tips on as someone suggested, but I should have used super glue instead of regular glue because a few have still come off.

I was using a Tupperware or Rubbermaid plate holder rack to hold glass. This is so much better. Just one or two pieces of glass between posts (metal holder things), glass stands up straight, easy to see and to pull out. Stable. I would have given it five stars except the little metal spines have to be glued in or sometimes they fall over as you remove glass.

Super great product!!! Holds a lot of glass. Its so easy, light and portable. It is cheaply made for what they charge. However, this seller has a good price comparatively. Every so often when pulling out the glass the pins fall out. It would be nice if they firmly snapped in somehow. Despite these small inconveniences, I love this product!!! It's a great invention and I have several in my studio. I was worried they would not hold up but they work very well. Mine are used every day!! Trust me you need a few if you are into stained glass.

Purchased to hold glass sheets for a relative who does stained glass art as a hobby. Her only complaint is that the separators tend to pull out of the base under the weight of the glass sheets. However she solved this problem by gluing the separators into the base. If Amazon used a 10 Star rating I would give this 9 Stars.

I love these. Great way to keep my glass organized, and prevent scratching. I can easily see what I've got, and find what I'm after. I have probably have a dozen of them. From time to time, I've gotten them missing the little rubber tips that go on the posts, and once even missing a couple of posts, but the company that makes them has excellent customer service, and has gotten the missing pieces out to me right away when I've called. I definitely recommend them.
