I read up on this brand for a while now, and decided to try it out for my cat (since the last harness he had he could easily slip out of). Let me say, this harness is amazing! The way it forms around his body and Velcros, he cannot slip out of it even if he gets scared. Also, the tiger stripes look rather cute on him :)

I ordered this for my cat because she wanted to go outside so bad and I would not let her out. She accepted the harness immediately and loves it! Well, I should say she loves to go outside but she knows the harness is her key to freedom. It's secure, sturdy, and I feel she is very safe while wearing it. All I have to do is ask her if she wants to go outside and she runs to my laundry room and jumps on top of the dryer. She wait while the harness is placed on her and then walks on the leash to the door. We spend hours outside and it's great!

This is made nicely, kind of light weight, like scrubs would be made of. I thought it would be a canvas or something. My cat didn't go for it, but I also didn't spend the time to go slow enough in my intro. I just was impatient. I would definitely recommend throwing it on the floor with kitty and letting it become part of his scenery for awhile before even trying to lay it on him, and take it off right away as soon as kitty cowers. Maybe play peek-a -boo or torro. I went from laying it on the ground once straight to laying it on his back for him to shake off. I think that was a mistake. I think the pet parent should remove it before they feel the need to shake it off. It definitely made my kitty hide from it and feel unsettled when he saw it and I never got him curious about it again, just leary. I have heard that weight and snug pressure can be soothing, but you have to work up to getting it on in the first place with a cat, vs. dogs who seem to be ready to go most of the time.

THE HOLSTER FITS HER WELL AND KEEPS HER UNDER CONTROL WITHOUT ENCUMBERING HER OR BEING EASY TO PULL OUT OF.

We've tried to get the cat accustomed to it...she hates it so much she learned how to wriggle herself out of it instead. We can't pull it any tighter because it will choke her. Our cat is VERY densely furry so maybe if your cat has shorter hair it'll work great.

This item is made well. Concept seemed good so I ordered this item. It is a s/m size & appeared to fit my cat great & I had no trouble securing it on him. I do think the neck of the collar is high on the neck & if I had tightened it more, he wouldn't be able to swallow. or look down There was plenty of room to tighten it though; however, he still squirmed out of it without the Velcro coming loose. He is a long, narrow cat of 16.4lbs. & per vet he's lean.

I am going to return it with great dissapointment.
