I ordered this hanger for my 100lb. boxing heavy bag. The quiet swivel and easy constant swing is accurate as product description states. Makes for a very dynamic workout since the bag moves around a lot, including forward/back & left/right. Although the lateral swing is dampened a bit, it still allows for complete circular rotation when hitting the bag! The shock load rating was valuable specially using a punching bag that sometimes jumps around a bit. Materials look and feel to be solid and bearings are huge! It's hefty for it's small size. Even the carabiner that comes with it is solid steel and heavy, not cheap aluminum or light weight.
Only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, was because the main directions are not in English and the bolt/screws recommended are confusing? Seems to be a German product I think based on it's packaging....but a good thing since it's built like a PANZER TANK!
I used 5/16" wooden lag bolts, 3" long, with a lock washer & larger washer under together to secure the mount to the ceiling. I also added a 2x4 cross member to span the ceiling joists in the garage attic, as well as 2 additional support 2x4 lengths from ceiling joists to roof rafters for more rigidity.
I've used many other heavy bag hangers in the past, aside from steel beam commercial mounts, this is far superior to any home wooden mounted bag hanger.
For this use, I highly recommend this product. I'm sure it'll be good for other "Sky Chairs", Hammocks, or even "TRX Workout" straps. The additional ball bearing swivel on the mount sets this unit apart from other typical heavy ceiling hangers.

I've had these installed for a few months now and they work great. Used them for a porch swing I put under my deck. Easily supports 3 people and the swing. The swing is also really smooth and I did not add any springs inline with the chain. I only wish they were a little less expensive :)

Love the concept, and the rollers work great for a traditional swing ( straight back and forth). Unfortunately we got it to use with a rope swing, and when the swinger moves to the left or right at all there is a horrible squealing noise as the Marathon tries to limit that side to side action. So we'll be replacing it with a more traditional hanger and save it for the other swings we buy later.
The other problem during installation is it takes a non standard (at least in the USA) large six sided star bit to drive in the included screws, and that bit was not included in the packaging. I have a pretty extensive bit set and didn't have anything to fit it.

Hung a yoga trapeze from two of these so it was crucial they be sturdy enough to hold my body weight (147 lbs). My contractor who installed it also sat on the trapeze (170 lbs) and they didn't even creak. Very sturdy and fairly easy to install. The instructions are in german with some very vague English. I would NOT trust the recommended screws pictured in the instructions unless you are not hanging anything heavily weight bearing. I used 4- 2 1/2 lag screws with washers because the bolt holes on these are quite wide. You could be in danger of the screw head not being large enough once you put weight on it. I also made sure I hung them from a very supportive reinforced beam. Other than that, from a product standpoint, they are great.

Bought this for our sex swing in the dungeon. It is much better than a simple eye bolt drilled into a ceiling stud as this distributes the weight more evenly with the added benefit or allowing the carabiner to swivel back and forth with ease. Add a spring to your screaming fun time swing and be ready to wake the neighbors from screams rather than creaking and falling ceiling. This thing stand sup to the given task, takes a beating, and keeps on giving.
If you are looking for something inconspicuous you may have to hide this under a ceiling lamp as it is pretty obvious what it is used for. Or you could just have open minded friends and not worry about it.
