I got lucky. There are some things pet owners need to know about this harness. It fits my Chihauhah (sp?) MIX like a glove. He is 8lbs. and short haired. HOWEVER, the most important part is the neck to prevent choking. And this is NOT ADJUSTABLE. He is wearing a size SMALL. And it's JUST not too tight around the neck. If you have a long haired dog that is normally a size SMALL, this very well may be too tight in the neck. The quality does seem great though. Also the gold emblem is not as large or flashy in person as I thought it would be. But I'm pleased overall.

I love my little pup's new harness. I have a miniature dachshund and she looks quite regal in it. I measured her neck and girth. She is a bit chubby, 14lbs. The medium is a good fit with a few minor adjustments. Being a dachshund with a small neck, a collar can be choking especially on a walk when she is wanting to chase after squirrels. This harness is well constructed and I like the clasp. It is easy to take on and off. I highly recommend this product. Touche to Puppia! Happy owner. Happy Pup!

I have ordered so many of these for the dogs but not because they wear out but because I like all the different colors and fun ruffles or prints on them. I have two dogs and the Medium works great on my 18 pound terrier and the Large works great on my 35 pound King Charles Spaniel.

Unfortunately, they are too small...we needed a large for my small to medium dogs (shih tzu and bichonpoo). So, disappointed.:(
Also, the packages smelled of cigarettes (Las Vegas-lol)?! I'm not one that will take the hassle to repackage it all up and return ...I'd rather just donate it to the rescue centers. So sad...

I love the pattern and the material, but it's too big for my 10 lb puppy so I'm waiting for him to grow into it. He's in between sizes because I had the small Puppia harness in blue, but his head wouldn't fit through the opening after a few months even though the rest of the harness fit him perfectly. I would've given this 5 stars if they had a size in between small and medium or if the head portion were adjustable.

We ordered the medium size for our 17lb. shih tzu - and it is the perfect size for him. I like that we can expand it when he wears thicker sweaters during the winter. It is loose enough around the neck, but secure enough where he can't slip out. We've had this harness for about 6 months now, and use it multiple times on a daily basis...and have thrown it in the washer many times as well. The harness is still in excellent condition - the gold-ish emblem is still attached to the harness, just like it was when we first purchased it. Great quality.

Read several of the reviews and the harness is not adjustable around the neck. Bought a size larger (small) as advised. The harness fit perfectly on my mini daschound who weighs 10 pounds. Good quality. Would buy another.
