I find the Kava Kava effective. I take it both during the day and before bed. When I take, I put a dropper full under my tongue and let it lounge there for several minutes to absorb. I find the alcohol gives a bit of a sting, but that softens. I don't mind the taste at all, in fact, it is familiar to me and so I know the product is authentic. I lived on Oahu for a while and had the good fortune to have access to hand-made kava drink. As with that, this tincture will give a bit of numbing to the lips and tongue.

Really helpfull for bouts of anxiety/panic. I prefer a glycerin base but this was a nice bottle of kava tincture. Numbing sensation, immediate calming. I found it to be great having a half dropper in the morning and a full at night.. Ended up needing less and less each time i dosed. Amazing. Will buy in bulk again

I frequently get up around 3-4 AM and cannot go back to sleep because my mind is racing. It usually takes me a good hour or two to get back to sleep, but by then it's time to get up. Tried a pump of this last night under the tongue and it worked like magic. Fell back asleep right away. I must say it tastes pretty nasty, but it was worth it. It's like taking a shot of some herbal 100 proof alcohol in the middle of the night. The alarm woke me up this morning and I feel rested. I will probably order more.

Works pretty good. I'm changing my antidepressant from paxil to zoloft and wanted something to help with the transition. It helps a little when the anxiety gets bad, like a small dose of a benzo but it is a little rough to take.

Pointers:
It tastes horrible so you won't want to dilute it.
It has grain alcohol so it burns bad if you do it wrong.
I put it directly under my tongue, if it gets on the top of your tongue it burns soooo bad! So drop it under the base of your tongue. Leave it there 1-3 mins with your tongue elevated and quickly swallow with water chaser.
