I use this valve to control the flow of Propane gas to a metal melting pot. It works great. I would have given it five stars except for the fact that the black headpiece requires frequent adjustment to keep it from humming when there is power to the electromagnet.

Solenoid works well for intermittent operation (heats up after ~3 minutes), and manufacturing quality is good, but the 3/4" threads were cut too deep to seal to male NPT nipple without lots of good teflon tape. May have been cut for parallel threads and gasket.
