As a battery-operated strobe light, this one was decent. I really liked the remote feature, which is why I chose it. The lights themselves were pretty bright, but unfortunately, there isn't a lot of them and they're arranged in straight, vertical lines, so all you see from any angle is a single line of blinking lights.

Sadly, after two days of use, it fell off my vehicle and I lost it while I was going down a highway (55 mph), so I wouldn't recommend it for any faster moving vehicles. Especially on busy roads.

We use these for a safety feature at a place I work at and they are bright and work really well, the only thing I wasn't a fan of is that we have to switch batteries really often. The magnet on the back works perfect!

came in box with no instructions within. there are limited and confusing bits on the box, along with some pictographs.

1 takes 6 AA batteries not 4 as indicated on the outside of the box

2 can be be hardwired-clear label on bottom

3 switch on bottom, which is a push switch not a slide switch as shown on the box, turns unit on and off only.

4 if you wish it to flash as a beacon, you must use the included remote control. The remote control is not mentioned on the box. DON'T LOSE IT.

All in all, it seems like a pretty useful device. Dome sealed by O-ring. who wants to pull the unit off the roof in a snow storm just to turn it on, use the remote.

I got this for tail-gunning funeral processions. Everything about it is great except during the middle of the day it does not really attract attention, I kind of expected this with a led light. For the money it's perfectly fine and would be ok for cloudy days and great at night, I also like the remote to turn it on and off and there are no wires running in the door. I think I'm getting a standard bulb spinner for bright days. Note that there are no patterns to choose from, it only rotates but you can adjust the speed by an adjustment screw.

We got this for a work application. The remote allowed us to turn on and place in a highly visible area. It worked great on the first set of batteries. When the batteries died (it requires more than 4 btw) We put new batteries in it and the lights for some reason were very very dim. The only way to get the lights to be bright is to plug it in. WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN THE REMOTE FUNCTION DOES NOT WORK! SO you are left with manually pushing the light on which eliminates the use of the remote, or you can have a VERY dim light when using batteries. Very displeased.

Wow. Used it 3 times in 3 months, battery dead. Not even 30 minutes of use. Replaced batteries, then the remote stopped working. Now you have to take out the batteries to shut it off! ALWAYS INDOORS!!

This is an awesome light. I bought two for a stage performance. The remote is great. It has a good range and works flawlessly. I am able to turn the lights on from the audience when needed. The speed the LEDs flash can be changed to go slow, fast and everything in between. I would recommend this product.

I put one of these at the crosswalk and I operate it remotely as folks approach. Could be brighter but the batteries have lasted. I now have 2 and will put on on each side of the crosswalk. By attaching a metal plate to each of the "crosswalk" signs this unit adheres nicely and the remotes will now work in unison.
