This is an excellent mount, as it holds in whatever position you want it and is also lightweight and compact. There is no vibration associated with using this mount, which provides excellent video quality. I was comfortable with slamming my pole into the ground and not worrying too much about the camera being broken/damaged.

I want to provide an addition POV while skiing and the Contour pole mount fit the bill. It's easy to use, stable, and most importantly quick to install and remove. It took a few attempts to get the correct angle to ski comfortable with. I had to make adjustments to be comfortable holding the pole with the camera while skiing. Once adjusted, I could quickly put the camera on to capture video and remove and store it in my pocket to continue skiing without having to take away time from skiing. Great product and would highly recommend it.

This is a great accessory for the Contour. I mounted it on a ski pole and have taken it out on a few snowboarding trips. I got some great recordings with a lot of awesome angle. Makes videos a lot more interesting!

Does what it says it does. holds your contour camera, and comes with a pole mount. This package is basically the 360 helmet mount but a pole mount instead of a surface mount. the mount can be used with pretty much all other contour base mounts.I have had the mount rotate, so that is the only complaint if you add tape and make the base a little bigger it will stay just fine.

Prior to using the pole mount system, I was wearing my Contour on my helmet. That caused a lot of camera movement due to moving my head around to check my surroundings. With the pole mount, I can concentrate on keeping the camera steady and still turn my head to watch out for other skiers and boarders. The base is easy to swivel around to do selfies.
