I bought this costume for amusement purposes.....and possibly for next Halloween...for our Boston Terrier. The initial effect is funny but not as glamorous as in the photo. It will take some work to try to try to get the same look. Don't know if the BT can sit still long enough for that! But the price here is half of what I've seen elsewhere, so I'm fine with my purchase. The rating system used for this product is awkward. This costume is not really a toy. It has no educational value, so asking that is silly. It's about as durable as any Halloween costume is likely to be. The main plus is that it is FUNNY! And it's well-suited for dogs with flatter (more human) faces, like Boston Terriers, Bulldogs, Pugs.

SIZE CHART--the size chart that came with the costume is as follows:
XS= neck 10-12 inches, chest 12-16 inches
S= neck 12-14 inches, chest 16-20 inches
M= neck 14-16 inches, chest 20-24 inches
L= neck 16-20 inches, chest 24-28 inches
Also, the instructions warn NOT to use heated styling devices on the wig. No curling irons!!!

Take your pictures outside! This costume is hilarious but only good for taking pictures, Im afraid, as it only looks good from the front when the dog is sitting. I purchased a size large for my 35 lb english bulldog girl and took the photos outside. After many shots, only a few worked out great but it was all that I needed. My picture is posted in the customer pic area. FYI....the boobs get all mis-shaped and divited from being folded during shipping and the plastic will need to be heated with a blowdryer and then remolded. Take the pictures outside in the natural light or else the hair will give off that fake nylon sheen.

Very funny costume for my 35 pound English Bulldog. I bought a size large, I do wish it would come in larger sizes for the big boned girls. As with all costumes not the best of quality but what is expected from a costume. The wig has ear holes for the dog that does a good job to help keep the wig in place. A great costume for the bully breeds.

Not great for all dogs. For a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, it didn't work. I think if you have a dog who doesn't that've fluffy ears it would work. But with my CKCS the ears and wig just were too much. Short hear, pointy ears are best.
