Just purchased this dock after researching all of them. This Philips unit really delivers what it promises. Deep bass and high note with plenty of volume to spare. I think it can be compared the the Bose radio. I like the fact that it has a FM tuner as well as Iphone/Ipod software app that gives you more options.The only downside was that it does not have a remote control. The design of the radio/dock is very modern and retro at the same time. I cant really find a better looking or sounding dock on the market for this price. Very Satisfied.

I like it. Shipping was good. Came ahead of time and well packaged. It can be confusing if you do not follow the operating directions and you also have to download a special app to play your own music. It does charge ur ipod/iphone so that is a plus. Had it for a couple months and so far no problems.

I bought this for my home salon. I have a Bose system in my kitchen/living area (that I love) so I was skeptical, but didn't want to spend the money on another.
The sound is so great. It goes pretty loud, although I don't turn it up far past 9 or 10.
I am very impressed with the product and will buy another when needed. :)

We bought this as an open item at Best Buy, then after enjoying it so much my husband decided he wanted one for work. Working in a machining factory and needing to meet certain requirements on a stereo we thought all hope was lost, we looked for several months trying to find one. This one purchased from Amazon was better than the one from Best Buy!! It had an antenna for the radio and a few different comparisons. We decided to keep the one purchased from here at home.
Only Dislike- it is made to dock all older apple products. In order to dock the iPhone 5 you'll have to purchase an adapter, we found it for $39. This dock was the best choice for us. Sound quality is amazing, don't have to have very high to drown out the sounds of a machining shop.

The dreaded "Charging is not supported with this device" started popping up after about a month of use with my wifes Iphone 3gs. Then it was more frequent, and now it won't charge her phone at all. I've had this happen with knockoff charging cables but never with a dedicated brand name product. Phillips I am disappointed in you.

I researched an iPhone docking station that would also play my Pandora at work. I never need to turn up the volume to high, but if I needed to, it has great power. The sound is great for my office and the design is sleek. Someone mentioned it looks like a Bose, and it does. The app was simple to download (others mentioned they had complications so I was concerned), but the system automatically set up without a problem. I did have an issue of an alarm going off the first day and to me, it seemed random and out of the blue, but it has not happened since, so maybe I set an alarm by accident when I first received it. The price is unbeatable. I'm glad I got it, I definitely made the right choice.

I settled on this item after reading the reviews. I purchased this to use in my small office. I will say that the sound is good (not great) and the ipod dock works well. What I don't like about this is that all of the buttons except for the alarm/snooze buttons are on the back and are very small. You therefore need to pull it out, turn it around - and in my case put my glasses on - to change the mode, time etc. - it doesn't seem to have been very well thought out.

I will probably keep it as I got it for a good price, use it primarily for the ipod dock, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. I recently purchased a Sony as a gift and the sound and ease of use far exceeds this.

this is the truth of bedside watch docks. it is a must get if you do not have one. the sound is amazing for the size and the fact that it is only a dock. and got it for $35. used to have the big ihome. this is better by far.
