I thought my daughter would love this, and she does (4 years old). My opinion is it is awful and very junky. The first night we had to glue the bed pieces together and the second floor board. The bed still falls apart. The trunk top comes apart any time she uses it, the little brother that hides in it is even less sturdy. The stairway pops off with barely any pressure as does the swinging door at its base. The table top and base do not stay together. Tonight the Brave character's hair piece fell off, will be gluing that later. We have other little castle type playsets and have never had any trouble with them staying together, so I don't think it's my daughter's fault. She keeps playing with it, I'm just tired of fixing it.

Bought this for my godchild who turned 4. Was never so disappointed in a Disney toy. Doll is tiny and impossible to keep on horse or hold bow and arrow. Everything with the castle either falls off or falls apart. Wouldn't recommend this for any age.

Purchased this item for our daughter after watching the movie. It was priced significantly lower than any other online or brick & mortar retailer. At that price point (~$12), it's a great value. Assembly was quick and easy but it doesn't stay assembled. With that said, our 6 y/o daughter enjoys playing with it and the fact that it pops apart doesn't bother her in the least.

This is one of the things my daughter wanted from Santa. It was almost $30 in the stores and I kept putting it off. I happen to check on Amazon and it was listed just under $11... free shipping. Ive read the other reviews but didnt care because of the price. The only thing I see is a problem is that the second story floor doesnt like to stay in place when its moved. Other than that... It has stayed together. I think this is a toy for a child i little older 5 and up only because they can understand, "leave it in one place or it will fall" LOL I probably wouldnt had bought this full price... she would have gone without but for the price I would buy it again!

My daughter loves it! It is the only Merida 3" doll with a cloth dress. She loves the castle and Angus the horse. We have to snap the parts together again frequently, but she loves it so much we don't care.

I love the idea of this Merida Castle and my girls actually like playing with it...until it starts falling apart.
The stair case and castle door parts are always disconnecting and completely detaching from the castle.
Also Merida's little bed pieces don't lock together so it also falls to pieces all the time.
I'm slowing collecting all the pieces....when I find the last piece of Merida's bed I'm returning this very disappointing Disney Toy.
This review is coming from an adult who loved the movie just as much as my girls did :)

They don't sell a Merida Magic Clip doll set, so I bought this to go with our collection. The color palette is a little off, but the size matches up really nicely, and the horse is a Godsend for my girls, who fight over horses. We have a Magic Clip Merida, they make just her, but not her house. So, we bought this set and threw this Merida into the bathtub toy box (she looks like she is wearing a swimsuit if you take that little polyester dress off) and we use the authentic Magic Clip Merida in her place with this house.
