I didn't realize until after I purchased these, that there were no triggers. Should have read more reviews about them, but considering the price (paid $18), I got " 2 for 1". I will end up giving as a gift to my nephew (originally purchased for my son).

I ended up buying the Blasterz S2500 Pump Action Blaster for my son instead, which will be part of his Christmas presents. See my review for the Blasterz for more details.

In order to fire shots off, you must pull back and release a pull mechanism. By doing so, accuracy suffers as you end up pulling back on the gun, so it "overshoots" your target. Doesn't make sense why the 2nd version of the Xploderz guns still didn't think to put a trigger on them! Buy the Blasterz line of guns instead...

This is a great product when they get bored with the nerf gun but aren't quite ready for paint ball. I love that the ammo doesn't hurt or stain the clothing. Great for the whole family. My boys love them!

My family and I had so much fun with toys. We taught our children never to shoot at anyone with these toys, we shoot at targets and whatnot. But on the off chance someone was hit with some of the ammo... it barely stung. Never injured. And it never stains either. Everyone in my family had fun with these durable, and extremely fun toys.

We got these for our boys for Christmas. The gun is so powerful that the gel balls explode before they even exit the chamber. I had bought some for our nephews as well and both sets are going back. I'm not sure how these made it through product testing.

My kids and I planned a water fight and i must say I scarred my finger. I didnt realize that I had to constantly pull the back. My 4 year old couldnt play because you have to pull it all the way back each time in order for it fire. Her poor arms couldnt handle that. She only was able to pull it half way. My 8 year old didnt like that i didnt have a trigger.

so i read most of the reviews saying that it doesn't hurt when shooting at a person. this is wrong, the boys accidently shot the other while trying to figure out how this thing works... well, he got a red round mark on his face. of course they didn't dare tell us, only found out after asking where that mark came from.
I think the gun is fine to use, not enough amo in the package so you have to buy extra. the boys love playing with it.
