Easily one of Easily one of the worst purchases made on Amazon since being a customer. I'd recommend this product to know one as there are many issues with the speakers
1) Shipping: Delivery was standard, but upon receiving the package it was so badly damaged. I picked this up at the FedEx location and the manager said this "Sorry about your package, you don't have to accept this and we can notate your account and return it back." The box was so badly damage, pieces of foam were coming out the sides. Not to mention that their was a single small sliver of tape holding up both ends. The employees blamed amazon for packaging...I ordered this from one of those 3rd parties.. Still I'm pretty forgiving so I took some pictures (as advised by Fedex in case I return) and took the product home to setup.
2) Due to shipping the bottom of the speakers, where you see the stand in the picture(which isn't what you get its a different type of stand) is bent and the paint peeled off.
3) I'm listening to this as we speak. There's no bass. Don't assume your going to have bass. I assumed so but its mostly just treble.
Funny the remote has a "bass" button but that just makes the sound terrible if you increase it. On a positive note the sound fills up a decent size studio.
4) The remote that comes with this is worthless. Its almost laughable. I live in a studio apartment about 400 square feet and no matter how close or how far I am away the buttons on the remote, barely work. At one point I had the remote touching the top receiving part of the speaker and it worked intermittently. Like when it wanted to the volume "could" change.
5) Luckily, I have one of the old school ipod nano the ones with the standard 30pin connector, and it worked.Read more ›
