didnt play well with my 300 mbit home network, got frequent disconnects, had to change the router settings to limit itself to 130mb/s rock solid with new settings, my router isnt even gigabit, i just liked seeing the 300mbit connection speed, file transfers with my media server max out at 10MB/S even at 30 feet through 2 walls

Frequent disconnects, seems to be a known issue of this adapter. Followed all intel's suggestions and still does not hold connection more than a few mins at a time - in order to reconnect you have to reset the adapter via windows troubleshooting.
