We bought Preethi Nitro Mixer couple days back. We were using other US brand blenders so far. As compared to the US blenders, Preethi Mixer is very much suitable for Indian cooking. We bought the product from the Amazon seller Great Elect. They shipped the product very promptly, the shipping was very quick, it came within a week or so. It had all the components as shown on the box.

The mixer had good and elegant design. We tried few items in it such as dosa batter, chutney, other spices for sambar etc. All of these came out very smoothly.

Overall, it was a great buy and we highly recommend the product.

Warning dont buy this!!! This product worked for 2 months, today it started shorting all my kitchen devices even if I connect the device to the socket, didnt even start the blender. I have tried to reset the product couple of times, still the blender shorts all the devices. I am shocked they are even selling this product. I had square trade warranty with this device, they did not help me because I had manufacturer's warranty, good luck with that. This manufacturer is in India, cant ship it out of country so I was stuck. The best part of the deal was Amazon customer service was very helpful and refunded me for this device.

Bought this Preethi Nitro on May 22nd, 2014. Today is August 12th, 2014 -- with very less use (Avg 1-2 time use in a week) and 60 days of use the Grinder is dead. It started with unusual sound today and in 15-30 seconds it is DEAD ! I think I've a protection plan -- anyways I'm trying to contact the seller/amazon. I'll keep you posted. I'm giving the lowest possible rating 1 STAR!

Edited - August 13th, 2014. I noticed a (fuse) reset button down the Grinder and that brought the Grinder back to life. It's working now again. So changing my ratings to 4 STARS now.

Edited - Nov 05th, 2014. REDUCING RATING BACK TO 1. Now the RESET button below is no longer helping. It's NOT 100% dead, it works when it wants to or if give a BANG!! on the top :)). It's funny ! I'm DONE with this, cant waste time on this, so I called up Amazon customer to report this issue, they won't return but asked me to contact the seller based in India. I tried calling the seller (in India) -- but no response. But I remembered I purchased a Square Trade Warranty for 3 yrs. I contacted them today and they will refund me the amount.

NOTE: PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS MODEL! I'm going to try "Preethi Steele Mixer Grinder with Turbo Vent and Improved Couplers"

My wife needed a mixer. After going through couple of mixers we decided on this product. Absolutely perfect, compact and totally worth the money. It came on time and perfect description of the product. Well packaged, came as new and bright. Jars and mixer runs very well and does the jobs perfectly. Overall I am happy with it and I would certainly recommend this product to everyone.

Hi, I purchased this 3 jar mixer last month. It was delivered on time, within 2-3 days. The package had 2 small missing items (the whipper blade and the small lid), but the service provided by Great Elect was very prompt; they shipped the missing items on time. The mixer works great - a very good one for South Indian cooking. I ordered the Super Extractor separately a week later and it also arrived on time. This is a great product well worth the purchase. All jars are very handy and can be used interchangeably; I use them almost everyday - very convenient to make idli, dosa, vada batters. I strongly recommend this product.

I purchased Preethi Nitro Mixer recently & it has lived upto the expectations of an Indian mixer.I have Blendtec blender which is one of the best but Preethi Nitro mixer does it better when it comes to Indian cooking esp. chutney,dosa & idli batter & vada batter etc. as this mixer needs less water compared to other blenders when making the batter.The seller Great Elect shipped the item quite fast.I got the item in 2 days.
I will recommend it for Indian cooking.I can't live without idli,vada & dosa.Yummmm....
