This 12w bulb has a very nice, warm look to it. The note says 750Lumens. and that the description says that it will replace a 100W. Personally, the 100w warm white is equal to 900-1000Lumens neither 750 nor 1750 as last reviews. The difference is the traditional light give 360 degree. and the LED give 120-140degree. So from the downside point, this 12W LED light will give you the feeling of 100w. This would be good for ceiling locations where you don't want much light going up. Anyway, I'm looking forward to not changing the bulb for around 10 years.

Let's see.

I put these in my bathroom vanity. They are much brighter than expected. They do have a tiny delay, which I estimate to be about a third of a second. It doesn't bother me. I'm itching to buy more and replace all my bulbs, but I'm trying to use up all my CFL first. After seeing the performance of these, I will not buy another CFL. Three of these in a ceiling fan fixture light our living room nicely. I've purchased 4 of these so far and intend to purchase more.

Highly recommend!

The color and brightness of this bulb make it a perfect replacement for a 60W incandescent A19 or PAR20 bulb where the application does not require an omnidirectional distribution of light or dimming.

The color temperature almost exactly matches an incandescent bulb, and in a desk lamp or can light in my view it is impossible to tell the difference. The size is almost the same too, while some other LED bulbs tend to be a bit longer. Plus unlike some other LEDs bulbs which I also like, this one stays remarkably cool. You can touch the heat sink after the bulb has been on for several hours and it just feels pleasantly warm. And unlike a CFL it is of course instant on at full brightness.

It's not quite as efficient in terms of lumens per watt as some other LED bulbs I am using from G7, but it is at least as good as a CFL and has none of the associated drawbacks.

The price is a bit on the high side, otherwise I'd be buying dozens of these bulbs to retire my CFLs. If the price suits you, buy this bulb with the confidence it performs as specified.

I ordered three of these to replace Ecosmart G25 60w compact fluorescent bulbs in a kitchen ceiling fixture which took forever to warm up to full brightness. I initially replaced one of three for comparison purposes. Wow - what a difference. Instant white brightness in the new bulb and prolonged dim bluish color in the Bulb shaped CFL'S before they brightened and whitened. If they last anywhere near the average life expectancy, I will be thrilled. Also the price of LCD's has finally dropped to a reasonable expense, another incentive, although shipping costs were too high. Update - it is now less than a year later and one of the three bulbs has started flickering on and almost totally off. For the price and hyped longevity of this product, I am now somewhat disapointed. Hilights is clearly a cheaper and poorer quality product than I expected.

The brightness is acceptable for a floor lamp. My only complaint is that there is a short delay before the bulb comes on and for the price of these bulbs, there shouldn't be any such delay. The delay is not as bad as a typical CFL but it is noticeable. I do like the light's color much better than a CFL though.

I like the brightness and color emitted by this light. However, it quite a bit of interference. I cannot use my old VHF wireless microphone or watch the lower cable channels because of how this thing is wired. I will keep it, but just know that this device causes interference. At least it is free of mercury and uses much less energy than the equivalent CFL bulbs out there. And it doesn't give me the headaches caused by the CFL bulbs! Okay buy, will keep after all.

The description is misleading - a 100 watt incandescent bulb is 1750 lumens. This bulb is *750* lumens which is more like a 50 watt bulb. Yes, you save energy, but you get a dimmer bulb.

Other than that I like the bulb, I just can't use it where I intended to use it.

This light is rated at 2700K, which is all I have been buying recently and it certainly has a warmer light than others, its a lot better than the 3000K lights. Its better in bedrooms, and if you have white or dark walls. If you have a blue or red or green, etc... wall then the 3000K lights are probably better as far as whiter, brighter light. But on my dark redish brown walls in my living room around my fireplace, look better with the yellowish light. It looks faded with the 3000K lights. And in my carpeted hallways with white ceiling and walls, it looks too sterile, too bright with 3000K or whiter lights. In my kitchen, I use the 3000K lights though, where I need the brightness and dont mind a little sterile look. The walls in the kitchen and dining room are also a lite red color so it goes well with the bright light.

These lights are best for down light, or directional light. I use them in recessed cans or ceiling fixtures that the bulb points down. If you have a fixture with a single horizontal bulb, the fixture will have uneven light. This bulb is small enough, small diameter to fit my small hallway fixtures that have a small diameter opening where it attaches to the ceiling. There are omnidirectional LED lights, but they are bigger so dont fit right into some small horizontal bulb fixtures.

These provide a lot more light that a traditional 60W bulb, because it is directional. So my hallways are much brighter now and I dont mind leaving the lights on when we go out, since they draw so little power. I only wish I could get these for $14 like the Ever Lighting 60W replacement, but unfortunately they are rated as 3000K, and I have had two and they dont match in the color of light. So you pay for quality I guess.
