After going over the negative reviews for this product - which seemed mainly to complain that the cover was too small - I decided that I didn't think this would be an issue because my wife and I have relatively small cars (Nissan Altima and Mazda 3). The Mazda 3 is almost a compact AFAIC. Even if they weren't perfect, I was hoping they would prove somewhat beneficial on work days when I'd rather remove the snow cover and all the snow quickly than spend 15 mins scraping snow and ice.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. The covers do an awful job of covering our windshields. There are 2" gaps on the top of the covers and the wipers - an area prone to snow/ice collection which would need to be scraped - was fully exposed. Plus they also don't allow for the correct curvature of a standard windshield. We tested them out for 1-2" of snow fall we received this past week. The majority of the snow was removed with the cover (although not around the wipers) and there was still ice under the cover.

In the end, the covers are almost totally useless. I contacted the seller to ask them what could be done in light of the two useless covers I now possess and never got a response.

This product is flimsy and won't stay on the windshield if there is ANY wind at all. It's difficult to put on and totally ineffective. Don't believe the claim that it fits "most" windshields. I have a Toyota, not a Mack truck.

This product does not work. The windshields are full of ice on cold days I previously purchased a windshield cover from AutoExpressions and it worked beaufifully. I am disappointed.

I have bought a few of these to use as stocking stuffers for my kids and they absolutely love it. Not the fact that they HAVE to use it in these Nebraska winters, but because it sure saves on time and grunt work not having to scrape their windshields. I will probably get one for me as soon as my "other brand" wears out.

I have a small Honda Civic and could not even cover the entire windshield, it's difficult to secure, and very thin and light (easily blown off), and could not keep the windshield from freezing. I do not recommend this product.
