This stuff is available at the local dollar store here. I picked up a can once just to see what it tasted like and waited quite some time before using it. Finally one night I decided to heat it up along side a sandwich and was very pleasantly surprised. It really is delicious and spicy. It's so good it is one of the very few things I eat that I don't add anything to it, no garlic, salt, nothing. Since finding it I pick up a couple of cans every time I go to the dollar store and eat it often as a side dish, and sometimes just by itself as a soup. (It's loose in consistency, like a soup). I love it and hope they never stop carrying it at the dollar store. It's a lot more expensive here but would be worth it if it came to be the only place I could find it. Try your local dollar store then decide. Darn tasty stuff...: )

The product tastes good, but the problem is that there is no little of it in the can. Half of it is a thin liquid. Makes for stingy portions unless one adds to it. I sometimes buy a can and add some corn, but this shouldn't be necessary.

Guess I should not say I hate it because I would not open any of the cans delivered to me. They were so badly dented no market in my area would have had them on the shelf. I heard from the seller by e-mail on Sunday (several e-mails back and forth) and I couldn't make them understand the packaging from Amazon was perfect. The half-pack was in perfect condition and the 6 cans were shrink wrapped and I had to cut it open with a box cutter. That is when I discovered the 6 cans were all badly dented. It may be a great product! I would love to try it ... the seller refunded my money thru amazon but I can't risk another order.
