I bought these sheets in March of 2014, same color, same product number, and that set was heavy weight and durable. They have held up very well. When I reordered the same item in August 2015 the sheets were noticeably thinner. I doubt they will hold up well for regular use. I doubt I will reorder these the next time.

First, the bad news. These are NOT 100% cotton. It's a "cotton blend". Make sure you know what you're buying here. If you want 100% cotton, you're going to pay more, but you'll get what you want. Most of the negative reviews I'm seeing on this product are by people who were surprised at what they had bought. That said, if you know what you're getting, these are nice sheets, decent quality. Just not 100% cotton.

The Impressions cotton blend sheets are somewhat unusual. They are thicker than any high thread count sheets I have seen and make me wonder about the thread count. (Some fabrics are reported as higher thread count if double ply yarn is used). I do not know if these sheets use double ply in the warp or weft (which could mean an actual thread count of 250 if both were double ply) but the sheets are definitely a lot thicker than other high thread count linens I have purchased. When they arrived they were fairly stiff and had an unusual smell. The label said 'wash before use,' which I typically do (though I have never seen a label instructing me to do so before). After washing they were much softer and smell like other freshly washed sheets. They were a bit wrinkled even though washed and dried on a permanent press setting (most likely due to the blend).

I washed in cold water as directed, and dried on the low, permanent press setting, and they washed well. There is no piling or raised naps, nor fading/ bleeding, uneveness in the color. The sheets look like they should wear well through repeated washings as long as the directions are followed, though only time will tell. (I will update this review if they do not hold up well or begin to have issues after multiple washings). They went through the first wash well, and look and feel nice now.

The sheets are a cotton/ poly blend (55, 45%). I typically look for all cotton, though that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. My daughter recently got out of college and set up in an apartment, and then moved again. We have been through 3 sheet sizes in the last couple of years! First off, let's just say that the picture color can be somewhat confusing. They appear to be "gray or slate" and the description of "stone" so I was hoping they were a shade of gray. However, they were more of a sand or khaki color. No big deal since I can still use them on my son's bedding, but just somewhat confusing. As for the thread count, they appear much thicker than any other 1000 TC I have purchased. While this does make them appear more durable, I wonder about the softness factor.

As for maintenance, the sheets were laundered in cold water as recommended and dried on the perm press setting. I was impressed to find no piling or loose strings. This also took away some of the stiffness I was originally concerned with. As indicated in the title description, these are a poly cotton blend, so if you have sensitivities of allergies, take note.

Provided the durability factor (which is an unknown at the present time), these sheets are a great value for the money. The color is consistent with no irregularities or fading. The stitching is tight woven and no loose ends observed.

Impressions® Cotton Blend 1000 Thread Count , Deep Pocket, Soft, Wrinkle Resistant 4-Piece Full Bed Sheet Set, Solid, Stone are very nice sheets. Nice and crisp when put on the bed. The color matches a lot of different shades, I have them with a blue comforter and they look great.

I took them out of the package and washed them in cold water on med cycle. Then I dried them on med heat with dryer sheets and they came out nice and fresh. These are crisp sheets, they soften in time, but they are meant to have the feel they do. They are not scratchy or uncomfortable at all but very high quality like you find in good hotels.

These are really well made bedding products that look great and are nice to climb into after a hot shower at the end a long day. They look and feel high quality. Very pleased with them.

I washed these sheets twice and used fabric softener prior to putting them on the bed.I do not like brand new sheets prior to washing. Not any sheets. However, these are very well made and quite thick and nice. They were, of course, better once they were washed twice. I washed them in warm water with regular laundry detergent and they came out beautiful and soft.

1000 count sheets are durable and super nice to have. Treat yourself.

As others have pointed out this is a cotton blend sheet set not a cotton one. For 1,000 thread count they are not as soft as one would expect but rather stiff before washing. The stone color is nice and will blend with a lot of other linens. The price seems a bit high especially for a full bed rather than king or queen.
