I measured my work carefully before I ordered and figured with 2-rolls I would have a little tape left over. BEWARE: these rolls are not 5 yards long. Actually they are about 17 inches short EACH, not including the 4" of tape that would not release from the plastic core (it does stick well). I had to go to Home Depot and buy a similar 3M tape to finish my project, which cancelled any savings I got thru Amazon. It does perform as expected. However: Two stars because I feel cheated.

I needed ultrasticky tape to hold my dashcam to the windscreen.

I'd tried hot glue gun glue (melted in hot sun light), normal double sided tape (not strong enough), and gorilla glue (just did not hold).

This VHB tape is like magic and does the job perfectly . You can even peel it off if you decide at a later date.

I've used this tape for other things too, like attaching IR receivers to the outside of my cabinet, and as cable tidy to keep cable against a wall.

So first off comparing this to 3M dual layered tissue tape..

tissue tape= ripped off at 35mph after proper applying to my helmet...(72 hour dry time)

This tape/VHB tape = Stayed on my helmet rock solid with a 16 hour overnight dry time. Not a single vibration up to 65 mph (road limits)

This tape STICKS forever and if you missed a spot you can see it and note where its not stuck properly so you can peel and reapply properly.

the only way to mess it up is to not stick properly. Therefore this tape works perfectly.

Currently testing it with a 25 pound weight being held to a wall with it (multiple small pads due to surface size) still going strong three days later. :D

Overall. 5 stars or a 10/10

Does what it needs. works flawlessly. DOES NOT leave a nasty sticky residue when taken off during the dry period (miss placed a mount took it off and reapplied. worked flawlessly afterwards and cleaned nicely.)

Nice and strong. Use it on a motorcycle helmet camera at highway speeds with no problems. Would definitely buy again!

Update.... Jan 13, 2015.
The original tape I used in May 2014 on my motorcycle helmet camera is still holding strong. Haven't changed it out yet. It has been soaked with rain and had the sun beat down on it in over 100 degree (f) days.

I ordered the 1"x5yd version. I use this to replace the adhesive backing on my GoPro flat mount. I mount my GoPro Hero underneath the wings of a Cessna 152 aircraft. Without even waiting for a full 24 hours of "curing" as per the instructions on the GoPro mounts, I'm pleased to say that it has never come off even in speeds in excess of 120mph. This stuff is strong and is even difficult to remove once bonded. I use a pry bar to carefully dislodge the adhesive from the airplane after use. I'm now about to purchase my second roll, as the first one lasted me for more than a year.

This tape has worked well in the past for me. It is alwys a good idea to carry extra tape with you, not only to secure the camera but for other items you need to secure. It isa good idea to carry a small pair of sissors with your equipment.

This was great tape, but the last 8 inches are stuck to the plastic loop at the center of the roll. It wouldn't have been the hardest thing ever to use a non-stick surface, but aside from that the tape is good.

I used this to mount my helmet cam to my motorcycle helmet. As far as I can tell, it's the same stuff and is really sticky. It almost doesn't want to come off using a heat gun. I had to get the 1/2 inch, so it took 3 strips but it's awesome stuff.

It's a very small roll of tape, but it worked great for what I needed it for. You can google the specs, shear forces etc. It's supposed to be applied at 15 degc.
