Ingredients
Organic theobroma cacao (unrefined cocoa) butter (99.5%), tocopherol (vitamin E) (antioxidant to preserve the freshness of the shea butter) (0.5%).

Directions
Rub into skin until absorbed. Naturally hard and color and texture will vary depending on the temperature. To softenplace in a pan of hot water for 30 minutes or microwave without lid. Heat only until softened and let cool before applying to skin.

This is a great natural product that I use for my skin. As long as you don't mind the hard texture and the strong smell ( seriously, you will smell like a chocolate bar! ), it's awesome. I even mixed avocado, almond, and coconut oil into mine. You will need to heat up for easy application, but I just rub my hands together with the butter, and my body heat makes it more manageable.

I made my own whipped body butter and this was one of the products I used. The smell was wonderful and I can feel the moisturizing effects of the cocoa butter. It's a little hard to scrap out of the container...but with the right utensil, it really isn't a big deal. I used a small spoon and would have used a grapefruit spoon, I had had one. This comes in a glass jar which is awesome as I am attempting to minimize my exposure to plastic. This jar should last me almost a year for this recipe. Love it!!

I am impressed with this cocoa butter because, although it is compact, it rubs into my skin very well and it leaves me feeling soft, silky, and very hydrated. It also smells incredible! This cocoa butter is pure, as it does not contain harmful additives. I will tell you a little more about it: Cocoa butter comes from the cacao bean which is found inside the cocoa pod that grows on the cacao tree. The cocoa pod is a large gourd-shaped fruit. Inside of the fruit there is 30 to 40 cocoa seeds. These seeds must be fermented in banana leaves, dried, roasted and pressed, releasing the vegetable fat from the beans, which we know as cocoa butter. How Does Cocoa butter benefit the skin? It contains antioxidants-- in fact, cocoa butter is high in antioxidants, which helps fight off free radicals--and free radicals are the cause of skin stressers and signs of aging. Cocoa butter is also a Stretch Mark Reducer and it is widely noted to help reduce stretch marks. In addition, people say it has helped heal scars and it provides deep hydration.Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids and that may be why it hydrates the skin so deeply. Cocoa butter is also a sensitive skin Healer and it has been noted to help skin irritations such as eczema and dermatitis. Please remember that a diet filled with fruits and vegetables should be the main source of nutrition, as it can heal from the inside out. Our skin needs lubrication and protection-and cocoa butter gets the job done! Keep this jar in a fairly warm place so that when you use it it will spread easily. I take my thumb nail and scrap it across the top and a lot comes off and I spread it wherever my skin needs hydration. I loved this product. I love switching up my skin care (shea butter Vaseline gel, coconut oil, and now this). My skin is dry and these products all do the job. I loved this! My skin never feels dry throughout my day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars because this is an organic, SOLID rock cocoa butter. Yes, you can shave off shavings but it does not work as well as if you heat it up. I have to heat it up every time (or I leave it over the heater vent over night). But when it's melted it's great.
