The guards stays work as expected. The provide ample support for shin guards. I have been putting them outside my socks as the Velcro can scratch against your skin if they are under the sock. Not a big deal, but it can get uncomfortable after long periods of play.

We dyed this to match my son's uniform. The material took the dye well and doesn't bleed. Make sure you use Jacquard iDye Fabric Dye for Natural, Poly and Nylon Fabrics. Don't get the dye for cotton as it doesn't work on this fabric.

These work great! The only down fall is that sometimes they fold over, but rarely happens. I usually put tape on before in put these on and they really help to keep the shin guard (shin pad) from sliding down your sock. I recommend these o anyone who plays competitive soccer
