I just wanted to thank Barproducts for being so considerate. I asked them if they could ship this asap b/c I had ordered late for a bday gift and they did it! The package actually came early and nothing was chipped/broken or anything like that. The pictures on the shot glasses are clear/not faded or peeling. Quality glasses. Was packaged very carefully which I appreciate. Lots of packing peanuts. It even came with some humorous stickers. I know the 21st birthday boy will love this gift.

Only thing I wasn't pleased with was that the set came in 3 boxes. So the pieces can't all be fit together. Even if you split the black from white, there are 4 extra pawns from each color that have to be put separately. very minor thing though

I honestly am not sure what other buyers in these comments were expecting: the product description clearly states the lack of a board. Go get yourself a silicone playmat (in case you or your opponent have a hard time not knocking over the pawns after a few). As for the glasses, they're of generally useable quality. I've been mildly rough with them and they haven't chipped or shattered or anything of that nature. They're shooters, so be aware that you're looking at 2oz tall glasses, rather than 1.5oz shot glasses. The only complaint I can reasonably aim at this product is that, due to the piece value being painted on only one side, when they have non-clear beverages in them, it can be difficult to analyze your own board. Not that you'll care after a little bit.

I bought as a gift for a friend. I opened it to check it out before I gave it to him. Glad I did it needs a container to store it in and does not come with a board. It should have a way to carry it and play it. I had to buy a cool box to store it in and a board to make it a complete gift. The first time we set it up I broke one of the pieces. But he loved the gift.

I was very disappointed that there wasn't a board with the set. I have had a very hard time finding a board to use with this set. It was bought for a wedding gift. Luckily I was having it engraved so I opened the box before the wedding. I have spent literally hours trying to find a board that will work with this set. I finally had to have a custom board made. I would have paid more to get a board/box to keep all the glasses in.
