I have always used the expensive Senco brand of hose because of it's flexibility. Since all my hoses are 50 footers (the smallest length Senco offers in this series) it is a bit combursome to use when I am doing an on sight project and the compressor is right next to me. I notice that Amazon lists a possible 25 fgot Senco hose, but to date, Senco has not manufactured it. So I tried this brand and am very very pleased with its flexibility. Easy to coil up and uncoil, when using the "Studio Wrap" technique. If you don't know what that is, do a search on youtube and you will see tutorials on this technique. I've used it for years in coiling audio cables, from 10 feet to 200 feet and it's a great way to go. When you need to unravel the hose, just drop it on the floor, grab the end that was the last wrap and just walk away and the hose will just follow you without a single kink or knot. This technique DOES NOT work with those plastic hoses, or any hose that is stiff and has a mind of its own.

I purchased this hope to replace the plastic yellow retractable hoses i was using. They cracked and broke because of the cold in the garage. I liked the idea they would retract but breaking is out of the question. Mine broke while using it and the end hit me in the side of the face but did not do any damage. I was very very lucky it did not hit me in the eye glasses and shatter into my eye. I learned a lesson and will never use the yellow coiled hoses again. This hose is a little more work to coil up and hand up on the wall but the rubber is good and the hose still is very flexible in the cold. But the bottom line is it is much safer. The price was right and I would recommend this as a replacement to anyone, Good quality hose.

Hose is working properly for now, but I'm not sure about longevity. There were several places in the hose that looked weak, either bubbling or a thin place in the rubber like it had been scraped. If I had picked it up in the store I would have put it back and looked for a better one. However, the price was good and it is working well with no leaks for now.

This was a perfect upgrade to the super cheap crappy plastic line that came with my JNC portable charger/inflator. That coiled up line would kink like crazy. This nice rubber hose does not. If you have any compressors that have that coiling pvc garbage, get this instead.
