Although the cap looks cute in the picture, it certainly didn't meet my expectations. It was ill-fitting, although I ordered the size recommended for my dog. The bill is too long and immediately annoyed her. And it was definitely over-priced for the product.

I contacted Amazon and informed them I wanted to return the cap. I've never returned anything I've ordered from Amazon. Now, here's where Amazon really impressed me! Did I mention that I love ordering from Amazon? The products always arrive promptly, in excellent condition, and I'm very happy with the entire process of my orders from them. After I completed my return information, Amazon informed me that since I was a good customer, I didn't have to return the item and they would credit my purchase, which was done promptly. How good is that? So yes, I'll continuing being a good Amazon customer, but I won't order this type of cap again.

Alas, it's very difficult to find nice quality, cute hats for dogs that aren't sports team related.

Sissy, our Long Coated Chihuahua, readily accepted her new hat. Chihuahuas are prone to cataracts and bright sunlight accelerates cataract development. The hat will help shield her eyes from harsh sunlight while out on her neighborhood walks. The hat is well made and fits perfectly; I should add that I don't place it as close to the eyes as shown in the photo. (I think it would look better without the bow).

I love dressing my dog up and she loves being dressed up as well. I bought the medium sized hat and it fits her perfectly. She is a small beagle (she was the runt of the litter). She weighs about 20lbs (full grown). If this hat came in a bigger size I would buy one for my other beagle, who is much bigger!
