Can really focus the light into a small area...

I bought it for our Airstream as a table lamp for what I hoped would be an easily adjustable light beam, normal to tiny spot light. It worked as I hoped so that the entire area was not lit up... just the small spot needed to read. So at least on that point the light performed as expected and seems to be of good quality.

Seemed like a very nice item when ordered but turned out ...

I received the light. I plugged in the light and it did not go on. It then flickered on and off repeatedly every time I tried to use it due to an apparent short, even though brand new. The lens had some sort of stain on the inside that interfered with the light beam. Seemed like a very nice item when ordered but turned out to be high priced, poor quality junk, that I had to send back. Buyer Beware.

Terrible customer service and replacement policies

I bought this through Sharper Image. It stopped working after 3 months of light use. NowI am trying to find a bulb replacement as Sharper Image is no help. I spent $2000 with them over Christmas. Terrible customer service and replacement policies. The lamp was nice when it worked.
