Good valve and always use instead of faucet valves when I can. They do not drip and do not need maintenance rubber replacements. Pleased with a product, though once I did receive a unit that dripped so it is a good idea to always test and observe carefully.

This valve is very well made with nice quality brass and good quality threads. Just wrap the ends you are fastening into it with thread tape, tighten well and you will have a great plumbing connection and handy valve for years to come.

I used this inline for the cold water inlet at my hot water tank, but I had leaks at both NPT connections despite using teflon pipe dope and tightening the connections as hard as I could. Perhaps I did something wrong with my plumbing inexperience. So rather than fight with it further, I cut the NPT adapters off my pex pipe and used a SharkBite valve instead. Effortless, and no leaks. I'm not sure why anyone uses NPT threads anymore.

All compressor should have these valves on them to shut off your main air line when not using and always shut down main switch so your air compressor don't run all the time if your air compressor is mounted to your garage floor.

Purchased six of these (1/2 inch) to make a bunch of independent branches for a compressed air line. The inner diameter of the ball is the same as the inlet (1/2 inch in my case) so it will not restrict air. Construction is solid and from all six I can detect no leaks. My compressor (Quincy) came with one also.

Works like you'd expect one too. I upgraded my gas water heater's cheap plastic drain valve to this bad boy to make life easier. If you have plastic on yours, i'd recommend grabbing one of these around the time of servicing.

I ordered this valve for the handle. I needed to replace one that had rusted and broken off, Had the original handle been as sturdy as this one it would still be working. While it was not an exact fit, a little grinding took care of that problem.
