Good product but ran small, had thinner material then desired, had to return.
I play basketball, runners may want a different/tighter fit and might obviously appreciate the light weight. BUT these were WAY TOO tight. I am 6'4", calves are 16.5"/42 cm which is the center of LARGE according to their sizing chart. These were hard to pull on and literally was causing my toes to tingle from lose of circulation after 5 minutes.
BTW -They are good quality, look good. anyway:
I wanted something more substantial/ slightly thicker material. I am looking for support but also muscle warmth. So instead of ordering the next size up, I order the " Thirty48 - "The Sock Geeks", Cp Series Calf/Shin Splint Compression". They are great, little better material, plenty of compression, and more comfortable. I was at the high end of MED and ordered LARGE, glad I did.

Bought these and the 2xu calf guards. Prefer these as the compression is greater without feeling less comfortable, and they have a little more coverage (taller). The fabric is thicker and feels stronger. Their mass is twice that of the 2xu guards, but they're still only 30 grams each. There's also more stretch, so they're much easier to take on and off than the 2xu guards.

I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and have been looking for calf sleeves for years that have strong enough compression. These are the ONLY ones I have found that provide strong enough compression to actually be therapeutic. Reasons I didn't give 5 stars: after wearing them every day, and washing them maybe once a week on the gentle cycle and air drying them, they begin to lose compression strength after about 3 months. Also, the "SKINS" logo on the side begins to flake after maybe the second washing, which makes them look very old.

I got very disappointed since the very beginning. Their look is awful compared to the picture in both SKINS web site and the picture exhibited in amazon. After reviewing the specs at the SKINS site I found that they mention that its composition is 76% Nylon & 24& Spandex but the product I received mentions 65% nylon 35% elastane. In addition, the material composition mentioned in the SKINS web site is exactly the same than the composition for the A200 half tights, but it’s very noticeable the difference in the material. I have couple of A200 half tights and the fabric looks and feels totally different. The fabric of the calf sleeves is very poor in quality and feels rough compared to the fabric of the A200 half tights. Also the size is supposed to be “s” as I requested but even though the label says “s” they are wider than the regular “s” calf sleeves I have used in the past. Moreover, the label that is stamped with the logo and the word Skins exhibits poor quality and the color do not match between the two sleves. I really think I got a pirate product.

I am an avid hiker, wilderness backpacker, and run at least 4 half or full marathons a year. One thing that tends to occur a lot with me when running marathons is the dreaded cramping of my calves and thighs. I purchased this product to help put compression on the calves in an effort to streamline blood flow, minimize cramps, and speed up recovery post-race.

I purchased the Medium size, and am 5'7" in height. It has a nice, tight fit on the calves and was the right size for me.

To help you select your size, consider the below measurements from another manufacturer. Note: calf size is a better measurement for which size to get.

Sleeve Size, Calf Size, Height
X-Small/Small, 9.5 - 12.5", 5'3" and below
Small/Medium, 12.5 - 15", 5'4" - 5'10"
Large/X-Large, 15" and up. 5'11" and up

[Update 3/18/2013]
I've worn these sleeves during an intense workout, and was amazed at how my calves felt. They were well-ventilated, stayed cool, and most importantly, I felt in excellent shape with no signs of cramping! I have definitely been recommending this product to all my fellow athletes!

I have had a constant calve problem this season, I use K Tape plus this tight & my ride enjoyment has returned. I wear it daily for my daily ride of 50-60 miles per day. Keeps the blood pumping to the muscles & gives me a confidence boost to my workouts. Order one size down for very tight but comfortable use. If you are having lower leg problems buy the Skins compression sleeve. I've tried them all & Skins are absolutely the best of the bunch

These, quite honestly, are 10 times the compression calf than the cheaper, ultrasonically welded version that just have skins imprinted on the side. I received them from the UK because they are hard to find in the US. I've used (and still do on occasion) 2XU, Zensah, CEP and these are by far the best. If you can stand the wait time and be patient, you'll love them. High Quality with sewn seems, fit like a champ, and stylish. I even bought a pair of their arm warmers/arm compression sleeves with the same form-factor, i.e. patterns and colors, and BOOM, same results If you look at their sizing chart and measure yourself, it is true to suggested sizes. Love them and, I believe you will too!
