Great Product

Overall this is a great fitting, if you are building something that needs the ferrulle to clamp onto with a tri-clamp then look no further.

Ive looked in all types of home improvement stores and could not find these anywhere, I look online one time and found a few but they were all the shorter style ones that are hard to weld into your pipes. These are easy to solder/weld onto as long as you have the right supplys. - A acid base flux to eat into the outter layer of the stainless.

PROS:

Fits snug into the pipe
Extra metal for more solder to hold onto for a firm solid perm. connection
Fast shipping

CONS:

If you dont have the right supplys, you cannot really weld/solder these sense theyre stainless (but thats with any stainless item)
Shipping was only inside a little plastic bag

- 4/5 stars due to the shipping being inside a plastic bag and not a more sturdy form of shipping

These made my still look like a factory built product!

They made it easy to disassemble, and reassemble. They fit inside 2" copper "M" pipe and silver soldiered easily. They work well with Triclover clamps and gaskets.

Plenty of neck on it if you are attaching this to a convex surface or to stay securely in pipe. This is a well machined piece

Quality part

Dimensions as described in the sellers ad. However, part number printed in a rather ugly and obvious way around the collar on the visible side of the fitting. Probably fine for plumbing, but think hard about this before buying for repurposing. Not sure if removable. This doesn't appear etched.
