Our cat has feline stomatitis. This product helps to alleviate that condition by controlling bacteria levels in her mouth. The problem is that she won't drink it at the recommended rate of dilution. Most of the time she will take it at 2/3 the recommended strength and we still see benefits at this lower dosage level.

Update June 7, 2014: We now syringe this solution into our cat's mouth 2 or 3 times per day, mixing it at the recommended dosage strength. We mix it in small batches using 2 tbsp of water and adding 1/8 tsp of this product. We administer it using a 5cc plunger-type syringe without a needle such as is designed for feeding tiny baby animals or dosing pets or children with liquid medications. This way, even if she insists on drinking from the water faucets instead of from her water bowl, we are still achieving a helpful level of control over the bacteria levels inside of her mouth. It really does help alleviate her stomatitis symptoms along with other appropriate medications and treatment protocols.

We have no idea how good this product may or may not be. We have nine cats and water bowls throughout the house. They would not drink the water that contained this product. I suppose our kitties are too finicky.

Have 2 adult cats, who can be finicky to get to take vitamins, let along brush their teeth, with this i dont have to worry about brushing every couple of days, their breath doesnt stink anymore, i use a squirt on their water bowl in the AM with their breakfast and change it again at night with dinner.

I've tried other oral additives and my cats seemed to dislike them or I noticed no difference in their breath, this one is different for me.

My cats love fresh water even more with this additive. I change their water once a day and add this to it--ice-cold(They prefer chilled water), and they enjoy it. I've seen my male cat drinking more in particular. He once had odorous breath, not horrid, but not sweet either, now they both have breath that smells pleasant or like nothing at all.

I like the fact that this product does not include artificial sweeteners and of course that my cats enjoy its taste. I will keep using it and report back later. I know that this is not a replacement for cleaning my cats' teeth, but they do not allow me to try using the paste. I am also using dental chews, but the cats prefer playing with them to eating them.

5 stars for the cats enjoying it and fresh breath. I will report back here on the condition of their teeth on their first vet visit. This is my second week using the product.

I tried this because the Oxyfresh I had been using "seemed" more expensive. I did not realize that you have to use more of the Natural Chem. so the cost is no different. I had bought it so I tried it for many months. The results were not what I was hoping for. So this may be fine for maintaining clean teeth (like my 1 dog who already had pretty good looking teeth), but I suggest you go with Oxyfresh or even Leba III for real bad tarter if you need to get their teeth cleaner (like my other dog & cats').

What I noticed is the slippery feel to the water bowl when emptied and refilled is GONE. so I guess what they say is true it is taking care of the plaque bacteria.
