I love this thing i got the 8 panel but currently am only using six to make it smaller. Im using it for our german shepherd puppy in the mist of potty training. Alot of people including me was wondering the actual size. So im attaching a picture next to my full grown german shepherd to guide you. Please remember i dont have all the sides up that it came with

This play pen so sooooo useful. We have eight panels and it stays in the kitchen . Our puppy likes it . We let the door open . She has her toys and her bed in it . So she goes there from time to time and it is no problem when we need to go out . She goes in her bed and waits for us. A great item , very good quality and so easy to built, I could do it and I am far from being a technical person !!

The pen is very high as well as wide which kept my dog (who is an escape artist) from getting out. I also loved the fact that it was pink and a cute little door. This was a great buy and i would definitely recommend it!!

I ordered this pen for my 1 year old Golden Retriever. It's exactly what I was hoping for - the panels are very tall (he can't even stick his head over the top) so I know he will stay put/not be able to jump/climb out. The door is a little small/too weird for him, so I just don't use that panel. The panels are surprisingly lightweight, which makes for easy assembly. Overall, this was just what I was expecting so I am happy with it!

The only downside is that I ordered it with Amazon Prime and it came a day late AND the box was open (luckily nothing was missing)

Excellent product with one minor suggestion.

The door should come attached and put together in its panel. No reason to make the buyer go through the 30 minutes or so of attaching the hardware.

Color is great and the puppy really enjoys the space.

We purchased this and just put it together. Easy to assemble. Made well. We adopted a shelter dog and we're having some marking issues. Only when I go to do something else. We put his kennel cage inside of this along with his dishes and he went right in , likes it . When I go out was concerned about him getting to his water . He can do that now.
He never wants to eat and he instantly went to his food dish and emptied it. So he is liking having his own space.

I read the reviews and thought this would be a great pen because it wouldn't slide on the floor and since it's plastic if my dog was able to somehow shift it around the pen wouldn't suffocate/smash him. All that was right but within 15 minutes of being in the pen my 10 dog little dog picked up a corner and nosed out. He did this 4 times before I figured out how he was getting out! I figured a way to use this as a gate so I kept it but I'm extremely disappointed that I cannot use this as a pen.

I left the original review below but wanted to update. My dogs are now 21 and 15 months old and I found out that my girl and part great dane and part lab. Needless to say she is HUGE but I still keep them contained with the panels. I either use them to restrict their access to areas of the house or use the 12 panels to make a big pen and they are still tall and sturdy enough to keep them contained. Bonus, they dropped the panels a few times rough housing so now they are terrified the noise they make when falling so they don't try to jump on them - EVER.

I have two very young dogs, 5 and 9 months and keeping them contained and the younger one from chewing everything was an issue. I bought the pen previously for my older one and added 2 sets of panels when I got the younger one to pen them together. I also use the panels separately as barriers to furniture or gate to restrict access to the kitchen. I think they could cost less but the plastic is super sturdy and so far my almost 50lb 5 month lab has not been able to topple the pen over and boy does she try. Also these are tall enough that unless you're penning a pony, there is no wait your dog can get over the pen. Not sure how this would work for a Great Dane though.
