It just doesn't get any better than this. I got a small Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy doll for the great-granddaughter of my best friend. I was looking for patriotic outfits for Memorial Day and Fourth of July and low and behold some incredible vendor had a little dress with the Ann and Andy dolls on them. So, the little girl sat in her carriage at the parades and held onto these dolls. EVERYONE that walked by loved the combination and the newspapers even published a photo of her in her patriotic duds. Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy are timeless. I LOVE THEM.

Our family tradition is that each child gets a Raggedy Ann or Andy on their first Birthday. This one was for my last grandchild of six, there will be no more grandchildren according to my children. Five of the six Raggedy Ann/Andy dolls I have purchased over the last 19 years have been purchased on Amazon. This particular one was smaller than I usually buy but then this last baby was a preemie and it is the perfect size for her. Her first reaction was to hug it then fling it across the room for the next present which is exactly what her cousin did.
