ITs really 2 in one because you get the backpack---then the top part is a smaller SLR/Lens/flash case. I had a lowepro before and I liked it, but the cost was much more (for what I got)--this is still expensive but is a much better value. I can put 3 DSLR bodies and 5-6 lenses, 2 flashes, light meter, flashlights, instruction books, card reader, and all the many dozens of small pieces, memory cards, filters, straps, batteries, chargers, and on and on. It also has a complete rain shield, that is quickly and easily used to cover the entire backpak. I cannot tell you how many times, 2-3--that this one feature saved me from ruin.

The quality of this is second to none. Its a heavy water repellent fabric and efforts to make it heavy duty are obvious. Extra stitching, a flap to cover zippers, and extra straps/padding/protection. I feel very confident that this will protect my camera and will grow with me as I gain more or different equipment. The best---very best--I have owned out of 2-3 others. I love the interal padding--its very nice, and that the pockets are DEEP. Easy to put big--long lenses in like my canon 100-400==this is a 1500-2000$ lense and its heavy. This is the only backpack I feel confident leaving these expensive lenses in. The yellow interior is awesome. Its bright and the white lenses (some black too) really 'pop' making them easy to see even in dark. Its really a great (but simple) feature. They could have used any color of lining, but the yellow was ingenious. I want to get another one when and if they go on sale. Its that good. Thanks

This backpack is well constructed of heavy material.. The zippers seem to be of good quality, there is a flap which covers the zipper to protect from moisture getting through the zipper, because of the flap the zipper is a little more difficult to access. The best feature is the versatility of the backpack. You take what you need to accomplish your hike or just the camera case with a couple of lenses for a quick shoot. I am very happy with this product.

My camera came with a bag, but after buying the A/C adapter & a couple of other accessories, I realized that the bag wasn't big enough. I searched Amazon for something I could carry ALL of the items in, but have it be easy to transport. I have a bad back & have always used backpacks, so when I found this one, I was pretty excited. Not only does it hold all my stuff, but it also holds my big headphones, & has a pocket on the bottom, that drops down, so you can carry some snacks or clothing. This will be perfect for when I go to Austria in a few years.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband for his photography gear. We used it for the first time on a sailboat trip in the Bahamas and as a carry-on. It held not only the photo gear but several luggage items as well. The small top removable case came in handy during the plane trip for stuff you need last minute, then as a detached small camera case for just one camera and a couple lenses for day trips or hikes. The hidden extra expansion "basement" at the bottom came in very handy. With all the possible different configurations, it is extremely versatile. Someone clearly did their homework on this thing!
