This is adorable and will be perfect for our first child's nursery. Our room is small, so this small playmat is the perfect alternative to a rug. It's fluffier than a rug but lays on the floor like a small rug. It is something that a baby would enjoy laying and rolling around on. It looks very high quality and has the perfect colors for the Very Hungry Caterpillar. This would be perfect for anyone doing an Eric Carle themed nursery. I like that the photo of the item shows a baby crawling on it because it gave a very accurate portrayal of the size of the playmat.

Cute & snugly rug; not as thick as the BestEver rugs but very colorful and fun for kids. My only disappointment was the realization that it sheds a bit leading to green fluff around the house.

Check the dimensions before you purchase... my 26 inch three-month old has already outgrown the 21 inch playmat. It is adorable and soft, however, it is also full of fuzz. After washing and drying four times, my baby continues to collect fuzz in his hands and between his toes after just a few minutes on the playmat. So while it is cute to look at in the nursery, it is not practical due to its small size or abundant shedding.
