Best Steel of Splitters

I am an Engineer and this wedge has the best steel of any of the wedges/splitters that I actually metallurgical tested. It is unifom and does not have hard spots that cause grain fractures and failures. It is not prone to work harden and fracture. Best product in class.

Good Product, but...

I love this wedge. We're using them on 3 foot diameter wet pine rounds. They're mushrooming and chipping a bit more than I'd like to see, but I believe that's to be expected when you're whacking something as hard as we are with an 8lb sledge.
