    I'm 6'3", 180 lbs, I prefer loose clothing, and my length is in my torso. Typically, a "tall" shirt has 8 buttons instead of 7: the length of the shirt is increased, and an additional button is added at the bottom. Unfortunately, Dickies has apparently just enlarged their standard shirt. Hence, the second button simply ends up much lower on your chest: it hits me about 7" below my Adam's Apple. So I have the vast expanse of t-shirt showing. Maybe if I were offensive-lineman Big in the shoulders I'd fill out the rest of the shirt and the buttons would then come up further, I'm not sure; although I suppose it might then pull out of the pants at the rear (plumbers-style). I thought about buttoning the top button, but... oh well. Heaven help you if you don't wear a t-shirt: you'd look like a guy from an 80's dancing movie, assuming you have chest hair and gold chains.

    Two, for the chest pockets: where the material is turned down within the pocket, it is neither hemmed nor sewn to the front of the pocket, so the threads come loose and get entangled in whatever you put in there, or items get snagged in the overlap of that material within the pocket (like a pocket within the pocket). It's not something you'd notice until it happens to you, but it happens repeatedly.

    Three, the cuffs only have one button. Maybe this is a preference from my dress shirts, but I like the two-button cuffs. It allows me to roll up the sleeves part way. Here, there's a good 5-1/2" between the top of the cuff opening and the cuff button. Again, the shirt's template was merely enlarged, not engineered for tall people.

    All that being said, maybe I should have bought a LT instead of XLT (the neck size is about the same as my other XLTs).    Read more ›

    The material is very rough and scratchy similar to burlap but not quite that bad. The shirt looks much better in the stock photograph. I ordered a tall size but it is was way too short for me just like a regular size. The sleeves were also too short and the sizing fit small. I returned this immediately and it is not likely I'd purchase Dickies work shirt. I do not recommend this shirt.

    I bought this for the hubs and I was ecstatic that it fit him perfectly! He's a bigger boy, so sometimes things labeled as a "big & tall" item don't quite fit right, especially button down. He wore this to a company holiday party so it's good for the dress up nights. Will definitely be buying a few more in the future!

    Great shirt at a good price. I need to wear a black shirt and a provided tie for my job as a bartender at a Loop theatre in Chicago. The job requires a lot of lifting and cleaning pre and post show and i wanted a sturdy shirt as i've ruined a couple of fine dress shirts. This shirt has a one piece collar and not the normal 2 piece collar found on a dress shirt but still works fine with a tie. Can be worn right out of the dryer but a little ironing improves its appearance.

    Recommended-looks good and wears well.Good shade of black.

    These shirts have proven bullet proof over time. Darker colors fade eventually, but just look more rugged. Tough construction means you'll be wearing them a few years before they get soft. The sleeves are a little long for a 34" arm, but the XL size is a little short.

    I am a larger man than most. I'm gifted in muscle mass and since I started doing pullups more frequently and adding back workouts to my regime I guess it caused a larger chest/back span. When holding arms forward shirt gets very tight around the shoulders and pulls on my back. I have experienced this before with dress up shirts. I would recommend getting perhaps a size bigger than you measure and that should solve the problem. Overall great quality shirt and I use it to conceal carry my firearm. If you plan to use it for the same use I highly recommend getting the tall version since it allows you to grab things high up without your firearm showing, some people might not like this in say a grocery store..

    I purchased this shirt for my husband who has a strange build and needs an XL Tall. Most of the Tall shirts I've bought him are as long as they are wide which is not what he needs. I was skeptical of this shirt but he uses it for work and so far (2 months use) it has held up well and fits him perfectly. He is very hard on his shirts and this shirt seems to be made well and is very durable. I will be purchasing these shirts in bulk so we can put the company logo on them and give them to his employees. Wonderful shirt and couldn't be happier with the price and quality.

    Great long-sleeve work shirt, that fits my long torso nicely - I don't have to worry about it becoming untucked at the slightest movement, like many of my other shirts. It fits nicely, and is well designed with quality materials. This shirt fit exactly as expected, though it's worth noting that you cannot roll the sleeves up (fortunately I have the short-sleeve variant of this shirt).
