First, I LOVE Old Bay seasoning. I am a vegan and I like to use Old Bay in recipes resembling seafood. I also really enjoy it on popcorn and sandwiches.

Old Bay 30% Less Sodium tastes just as great as the original Old Bay, so why wouldn't you opt for less sodium?

This container is HUGE! Broken down, it is the best price around.

I'll be back for more...if I ever use up all of this container;)

I love Old Bay. For months now, I've been on a no-sugar diet and have been told to cut down on regular salt. It's okay for me to have Celtic Salt which is way better for you, but it just doesn't add enough flavor to the chicken that I eat almost daily. At first, I was using the original Old Bay along with the Celtic salt. That worked just fine but I held back a little to make sure I didn't over salt my food. Recently, I found out about the less sodium version and was thrilled. This creole seasoning is full of great flavor without the sodium levels that go along with the other popular brands. So, I use Old Bay more generously along with the Celtic Salt and garlic power and saute my chicken breasts. They are always absolutely delicious. I truly could not have stayed on my diet all this time if it had not been for Old Bay. I have now lost almost 30 pounds!

I grew-up with McCormick, having lived close by its original location at Pratt & Light Streets in Baltimore. The availability of Old Bay in low sodium is very welcome. In those days live Blue Crabs were sold by vendors on horse drawn wagons. We steamed the crabs using Old Bay!

All the great Old Bay flavor with a third less salt. I'd missed the ease and goodness of steamed seafood because I'd quit using Old Bay. It was just too salty. The reduction in salt actually improves the flavor by letting the others seasonings in the mix shine through. No one missed the additional salt or realized I'd used the lower salt version. Quite frankly I wish there was a true low salt version. Although no real cost saving buying the larger can as cost per ounce is about the same, it is much more convenient. Good for multiple batches of steamed blue crabs and shrimp without worrying about running out. The large canister is not available locally so I rely on Amazon. This was a happy discovery and a great buy.
