I usually love Pantene products, but this one my family is not so fond of.

First the pros, it smells nice, lathers well, rinses well and has a thick and smooth texture. It also leaves my hair in fine looking condition, but nothing special.

For the cons, When I'm washing my hair it feels like it's been stripped of its natural oils and therefore my hair gets a bit tangled and caught in my fingers (ironic, considering it's moisture renewal). Secondly, my spouse said when too much is used it makes the scalp itch afterward, but by using less shampoo than normal, while still getting a decent lather, that problem has gone away. I have not experienced any inching though.

For the record, I have thick and wavy hair that is about 6 inches long. Additionally, I'm using Pantene's complemental conditioner alongside the shampoo and that eliminates the dried out feeling the shampoo produces.

All in all... on its own, I'm not so thrilled with it, but with the conditioner they work together well.

I was very surprised to find a moisturizing shampoo left me with a dry scalp. Pantene products have always performed well for me and while is does seem to help moisturize the hair a bit, the dry scalp was an unwelcome surprise.

Pantene products are a huge favorite in our household. Their Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo delivers in many ways.

Positives: The shampoo comes in a large 25.4 fluid ounce size which is a great size for larger families. The shampoo lathers up nicely with a small amount. The scent is light and pleasant and not overly cloying so all of us use it when we shower without issue. The shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. Also, though not an intended use of this product, this shampoo also makes a good body wash without drying out your skin.

We find that you will still want to follow-up the shampoo with a conditioner, particularly if you are going to blow-dry your hair on a daily basis. Otherwise, for a moisture shampoo, your hair will end up feelign a bit "dry".

While not our favorite pantene product ever (the Pantene sheer volume holds that place in our household) this daily moisture renewal was well received by the members who blow dry their hair every day as part of their styling regimen.

I have very long hair, that is frequently oily near my scalp and bone-dry and splitting at the ends. This shampoo is great in combination with the daily moisture conditioner. I do find it leaves my hair a little less than extremely clean whereas other Pantene shampoos do a better job and my hair gets oily the next day. It is MUCH better than the generic "compare to Pantene!" products I have tried, and I generally prefer generics. I find the generics make my hair less oily, but they don't clean as well and they leave my hair much drier and cause split ends and breakage. It's probably much better for shorter hair, and I have to admit I have no complaints when my hair is closer to shoulder length, but when your hair is down your back, you want a little more from your shampoo.

I enjoy using this Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo because it cleans my hair with only a small amount, creating more foams comparing to other brands I've used, and I love the fragrance used in this shampoo, smelling like high quality product.

Combining with Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner with this shampoo, I can forget about my hair for the rest of the day. I am a man and I like fast and effective shampoo and conditioner combination and this pair does a fine job.

In the past I tended not to buy combo shampoo/conditioner. I had the privilege of trying this as a part of a promotion (therefore got the product for free, though my opinions are my own) and am very satisfied with the way my hair feels after using it! My hair feels soft and moisturized and after it dries, it looks great! I, personally, have long straight hair and it works great on my hair type! I definitely suggest trying it out, I'll probably be switching to Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal 2in1 permanently. One less bottle to buy and worry about, great results for my hair!

I was an advid Pantene user for years and then stopped 3 years ago because of advice from others and because I was looking for a more natural product. I should have started by saying that I have natural very curly african american hair. Anyway, I've tried Carol's daughter which I still use when I can find it, and then Wen. My hair broke off while using Wen. I got frustrated and went back to the product which gave me beautiful, shinny, bouncy curls, Pantene. It appears as if Pantene has tried to make a product with fewer harmful chemicals. I love it because the breakage immediately stopped after using this product. I use the conditioner as a co-wash everyday. To do that I've added about 50 drops or so of lavender oil. I then work it thorough my hair, leave in for 5 mins or so and then rinse in cool water. I use the shampoo+conditioner about twice a month for a fresh start. I also add lavender oil to the shampoo+conditioner. I love my hair again. I must also write that pantene has added a detangler or maybe it's the lavender oil because I can run my fingers or a wide tooth comb through my hair very easily with this product in, and my hair is very curly. I have used this product for one month and my hair has grown over an inch and it's thickening.
