Pro - You can lock your laptop to a chair in 15 seconds.
Con - it is a very light cable. You can't break it with your hands but any wire cutter would cut it. Use only for indoor/corporate security. Not safe for a public place.

I have had laptop locking cables taken away at airport before - when I forgot to put inside checked luggage - Don't know how dangerous a laptop cable could be on a plane, but anyway... this cable combination won't show up on x-ray as easily so reduce the chance of having it taken away. Locking is much quicker, just a simple push of the large black housing into the metal nub.
