I bought this to turn an old Jack Daniels bottle into a soap dispenser for my kitchen. It works just fine, but it doesn't fit perfectly on the dispenser. It doesn't screw down straight but slants a bit when you screw it on. I made the slant forward so when it sits on the counter you cant tell that it is off just a tiny bit. Also, the tube into my bottle is obviously too short for the size bottle I wanted to put it on so I have to keep the bottle at least half full at all time; which is not a big deal but worth mentioning. Other than than it works great and looks nice in my kitchen.

Bought two of these, one for lotion, one for soft soap. Both worked great at first. Then the soap pump started leaking out the shaft, and the leaking soap has a green tint to it. The seals must not be approved for liquid soap. Will see what the seller recommends.

It does what it says it does, but not well. I wanted to do a craft project of making an alcohol bottle a soap dispenser. It only works with bottles that have a twist on lid and then only some. I was able to get it to go onto a beer bottle, but it is slightly crooked. It also leaks soap out the top a little, not enough to be a problem, but enough that there is soap scum on the top.

It might work for a lotion dispenser top, but it does not work well for making soap dispensers out of beer or liquor bottles.

So I used these to turn mason jars into soap dispensers. I'm not sure if my problem arose from a) no rubber grommet at first, b) the fact that this was pumping lotion rather than soap, or c) some other unknown factor. But I kept getting a lot of soapy gunk around the bottom of metal part of pump and the mid section. I've add grommets and this seems to be helping but it's too soon to tell.

These are very nice looking and the plastic tube was easy to cut to adjust to different containers.

***Edited to note that I have to replace these after a few months. They got super gunky and stopping pumping. Would not recommend at least not for soap dispensing.

LOVE THESE PUMPS! Bought some really fun soap dispensers, loved everything about them, BUT within a week the plastic dispensers didn't work. I thought I would never find a good replacement and might just have to pour the liquid soap out,by hand. Well, I searched, ran into this site, emailed them a picture of my old pump AND WALLA, they recommended this one, knew the size & so, I purchased a couple. BEST PUMP, I have every used. I purchased this as a replacement to a container store Umbra soap pump that i use for dish soap. It works perfectly fine and the soap comes out as desired. Only thing I noticed yesterday, maybe a month after use, is that the soap is now starting to come out under the head of the pump as well as through the spout. Kind of annoying. But in general it works as expected.

After looking at this pump for over a year I finally bought it...it looks good, has a great shine and after cutting the stem about 5 inches it fits the bottle nicely..the only thing about it that I would change is giving a little curve so that it doesn't shoot straight out of the bottle into something other than my hand...Update: the dispenser does have a slight curve..looks like one of my granddaughters added water to the soap and made it watery which is why it shot straight out everywhere..once I added more soap it dispensed fine...additionally...it did ooze a green liquid but since the soap it contained was aqua I thought that it was soap ..it rinsed right off and hasn't done it again...
