I was so happy to find Norwegian livers at the net weight 300 grams, I like fish from cold waters of Norway and wild caught.
I received a product in smaller cans, with English and Russian writing only saying Cod Liver and nothing else, didn't say Norwegian or wild caught, there was a small piece of liver in a pool of oil, I called Taste of Europe and they called me back, apologized and are sending me the correct order. However, a week later I called and they told me they are out of it and are unable to fulfill the order. Now another seller is selling it at the higher price. Very disappointed.
I gave it 3 stars only based on a description of previous poster of the item itself. It was previously sold by the Taste of Europe.
I wish I could taste them and give the correct review.

These are huge cans, distributed from Norway, lots of liver 10.58oz. King Oscar sells cod liver in the same design can in two different colors, white and yellow. Both are the same 190gr, 6.67oz in own oil. I pay $3.19 in Russian store all the time. Produced by Rieber & Son, a Norway food giant. Majority of the canned fish in a flat form shipped by Amazon are shipped somehow damaged, bent, cracked open regardless since these cans can are not protected well enough during shipping due to its weight. Remember to have your camera ready.

For every 4.26oz = 121g, I get OVER 100,000IU vitamin A (2,000%), 10,000IU vitamin D (2,500%), 20,000mg Omega-3, 570mg cholesterol (190%), 100g fat (150%)... I consume cod liver from Ireland, Latvia, Denmark, Iceland, all depending which Russian store sells it for the best price... It has so much vitamin A that can be considered toxic less alone, fat and cholesterol. Not a strong fishy taste at all but strong oil taste since it is heavy stuff. I place it in a sealed container in the refrigerator and consume it within couple of days after opening the can since with over 8,000/IF, very high in inflammation factor it is great for my muscles when I do heavy work out. It is recommended that you drain the oil, I do not since I consume it all, but consume it cold, real cold. I make sure to consume in moderation since it is delicious, healthy but real high in cholesterol.

King Oscar produces small cans of 4.26oz. 6.67oz cans are huge for one meal and high amount of cod liver for one single person especially for the whopping amount of vitamin A that it has to offer with cholesterol which I am very cautious.Read more ›

This product is of medium quality compared with the German or French products. It is not cleaned of tiny tissues and although I kept it in the refrigerator, the product developed a blue coat...at least one of the cans. The other 2 cans were OK. There is however a much bigger quantity compared to the little, more expensive German/French cans. Even after taking it apart and cleaning the small tissues or smashed/fragmented pieces, one is left with a lot more product.
