We have two Old English Bulldogs an 8 year old named Harley and his partner in crime a one year old named Elvis - both are hardcore chewers and ball toy crazy!

Harley is a soccer player with impressive skills but he eats through most large sized balls so it's tough to find one that holds up. I came across the large Chuckit! Kick and Fetch and it was love at first kick! The design of that toy is exceptional as the deep impressions allow a dog of most any size to carry it round, I was so impressed with the durability I ordered another one along with the single tug ball - this one is exactly like the Ultra Duo but just one ball instead of two.

I expected the nylon not to last as these guys have tremmendous jaw power and when it comes to chewin they show no mercy. But I happy to be found wrong as the nylon holds up perfectly. I ordered the Chuckit! Ultra Duo and it's excellent as well. I wish the balls themselves were a bit larger but our dogs have a blast playing with these - and like the other products from Chuckit! they wear like iron, well, more like kryptonite!

Plus you can get in on the fun too and really crank up the crazy! Harley our oldest weighs in at 95 pounds and he's built like a tank, Tug -O War with him wears my arm out in 20 minutes. These are all excellent products, made with the aggressive chewer in mind. Just a great line of toys that most any dog and the humans they own are bound to love.

I recently bought the ultra balls (ChuckIt! Medium Ultra Balls 2.5-Inch, 2-Pack) and my dogs love them. They couldn't destroy them and play with them all day! So I thought I could give the ultra tug a try.
I got the package today and I threw it for my dog.
When I went to see what happened, the strap was all torn!
It only lasted less than a minute for her to cut the strap.

This is my lab's favorite toy. It is easy for him to grab, soft on his mouth, and squeezable. It is also very well made and has held up extremely well in supervised play. The strap connecting the two balls is thick and sturdy and the balls are very strongly connected to the strap. It has an odd bounce when I throw it compared to his other toys. If I lay out several toys to allow him to make a choice for the playtime, he ALWAYS chooses this one. I have found that Chuckit! Toys are the highest quality toys currently on the market and gravitate towards them when looking for a new toy for my pet.

I really like the regular ultra ball and my dogs love them. They are very durable even if they are chewers. This is not the case with this toy. I received the toy via ups this afternoon and after only a few hours my pit mix, Sierra and my border collie mix, Finn have just about chewed through the strap. The problem with the ball is that they have holes and my dogs can get any easy start on an edge and then the ball is history. I just had to stop writing this review to prevent my dog from swallowing a piece of orange plastic. The ball will undoubtedly end up in the trash before the end of the first day based on the way it's going. Don't waste your money.

This toy was great for our two dobies until one of them had to go and chew through the strap. The balls are now their favorite to chew. They make a weird noise and the pups seem to enjoy them just as equally as the original tug. Thankfully the place where the tug wraps around the ball has made them squishy and noisy when slobber is added. If you've got a dog that chews up anything (animals, ropes, tennis balls, etc) then this toy is NOT for your dog. We've got one that does and one that does not so we took a gamble.

Loved the product so much that I bought it twice. Unfortunately when left to her own devices our puppy loves to chew cloth so she completely destroyed the tugging material. What I was left with was a bunch of medium sized Chuckit balls which are still great for fetch, but I have since moved on to the Chuckit XL Max Glow which better meets our needs for fetch. Still a good product, I just wish I had found the XL Max Glow sooner.

This item is great if you live on a sloped yard. Since it doesn't roll, the dog can catch up to it.

Warning: ANTS LOVE THIS THING. If you let your dog play with it and leave it in the yard (especially in the Fire Ant loving South), ants will find it's a nice place to start a home.

Also, dogs love this. We do not use the Chuckit sling shot with it, simply toss it.

Dedicated dogs left alone can chew up the strap.

We are on our second one.
