Great, inexpensive boat shoe!

I work on a boat, so it stinks when my gym shoes get wet and I'm stuck with wet feet for most of my day. So I came across these shoes and thought I'd give them a try. The inside is a like a mesh on top of foam with holes to drain out any water. I jumped in the lake with my shoes and they dried pretty quickly also. Not to mention the no-slip bottoms are great for walking on slick dock/boat surfaces. They don't offer the best arch support, so I wouldn't go running regularly with them...but I'd compare the support to that of TOMS.

Not what you expect!

My plan was to wear this water shoe in Disney World to avoid getting my good sneakers wet. I was excited when I found the listing because the shoes were super cute! I read through most of the ratings, and decided to place the order because (generally) I have loved Adidas shoes. I felt as though there were enough positive ratings to outweigh the bad. However, after receiving the shoes this morning, I was immediately disappointed. The shoe itself fits wide in the toe and heel but EXTREMELY narrow through the arch (& I have a narrow foot). The inside of the sole is some sort of mesh/net type material, which was not at ALL comfortable! There was literally no cushion in them whatsoever. I also didn't care for the tongue of the shoe. It looks rubbery and soft in the photo, but in reality, it is hard and plastic-like. This made them very uncomfortable, as they were poking into the top of my foot. Less than an hour after they arrived, I had them back in the box and on their way back to the store.

Awesome water shoes with out the awkward aqua-sock stigma.

I bought these for a river tubing trip we go on every year. After ruining my beloved Vibram Fivefinger KSOs last year, I needed to step up my game. I wear a ladies 7.5 and it was a little long, but not to the point where I'm walking out of my shoes. I wore them out to a bar to break them in and nobody could believe they were water shoes, they just looked like really hip sneakers/skimmers.

When I wore them out on the river I found that I had to re-tie the laces a few times but did not feel waterlogged.They have a light but sturdy sole and water escapes with ease, but larger clumps of sand and pebbles needed to be rinsed out. The Saco was very swift moving this year and there was a family in a canoe that had no business being in it and found themselves in the swift moving current and their boat on the bottom of the river. Several of my friends and I jumped in to help. I had sure footing on the slippery rocks and was able to walk steadily and dig my feet into the rocky, sandy bottom without having to worry about sharp rocks or rusty, jagged metal hindering my progress of getting the little girl or her mother to safety. I was shocked that they stayed on my feet after the fact and am most certain that if I didn't have shoes this good in the water, I doubt my part of the rescue would have gone as smoothly. A+ Adidas!!

Perfect Water Shoes

I used these in Hawaii for rocky terrain like watery hikes and rocky beaches. They were the perfect water shoe. The only complaint is that the mesh was too big inside the shoe, so some stones would get in the shoe, but weren't easy to get out of the shoe (the bottom part has a different size mesh and you have to turn the shoe upside down and whack it a few hundred times to get the rocks out). That was only really a problem on one beach, Black Sand beach in Maui, so I'd still strongly recommend them. Oh, and they're cute. :)

Love the fit and look

Love the fit and look. I ordered them for a cruise for excursions on islands. Able to wear around like a walking shoe as well as participate in the water activities with quick drying. I have large feet,size 10, with issues finding shoes. But these worked out well loved the color too.

Perfect for water aerobics

Runs big but Awesome shoe

I love these shoes. I bought them for a beach vacation. Sand easily gets in them because of the holes but feels better than walking on the rocks with your bare feet. For me, I have a normal foot, not wide nor narrow and I ALWAYS wear a 9. And this is probably the 2nd shoe in my life I had to order the 8.5 or the 9 would have fallen off once stepping in the water.
