Bristol paper is a cardstock that holds ink very well. I've used it with Prismacolor markers for years and plan to start using it with Copics soon. If you do your ACEOs (artist trading cards) with ink or art markers, as many people do, these Bristol cards are an ideal purchase because they take the ink very well and there isn't too much bleed. You'll see some color on the opposite side, but not so much that it will soak through to another sheet of paper. Highly recommended.

Normally I make my own blank ATC's from nice heavyweight paper, but having had a hectic week where I was very limited on time, I bought these for the convenience for a group art project for a young artists' club. All of the children had different ways of creatively utilizing these cards with the different mediums provided (watercolors, markers, pens, ink and stamps, glue sticks, collage material, crayons, glitter glue) and these smooth blank cards held up well and had no bleed-through from MODERATE marker use, but the heavier-handed kids that used marker did have some (bleed-through) on the back. These hold watercolors well also, but if there is a lot of wet-on-wet methods used, there is a slight warping.

Although it is cheaper to make your own, if you are in a "time pinch"--these are pretty nice for what they are and I would not hesitate buying them again if needed.

Meh, these cards were okay, but not great. The paper quality is nice, as is having pre-cut cards. The problem lies in the cards not being cut out quite right. While the length of the sides are all correct, the corners are just slightly off 90°, skewing the cards ever so slightly. They aren't bad enough to send back, but it's noticeable enough that as soon as I pulled them out that I could see that they weren't quite right.

I produce ATC's ATC are Artist Trading Cards Check out what that is online. I find that these are a bit thin for my ATCs. I like mine to be more rigid so I have to attach a good firm backing to it in order to satisfy my needs. The paper is the same as the larger size Bristol just cut to the proper size for ATC's. Would it be cheaper to buy a pad of Bristol paper in a larger size and cut it yourself? Yes. Absolutely. This paper is expensive per square inch as compared to other pads of Bristol. I like the convenience so I buy this size. I may start cutting my own from larger stock, but now I like the convenience.

These are so much fun!

I own a few types of paper and I must say the Bristol is my favorite across all mediums! No issues with bleeding from ink, smearing from drawings, or drying time with watercolor.

Grateful that I experimented with these because even on Amazon some of the other media types were a little spendy for a size I was not 100% sold on. But now I am. Love the size and that I can make tiny mementos for friends and family.

These are perfect for Zentangle trading. My only problem was the size, I have a hard time with fine drawing. Don't get me wrong I got these for a challenge in a group I belong to, so I knew I was getting a smaller baseball card sized canvas. It just seems so much smaller when you have them in your hand.

Perfect for its intended purpose. I have yet to try it with watercolor (light detail, not a wash). For pen it's perfect as well. I have managed to find a better price at a different store @$2.00, so I will probably not order again

This is from me and my boy
This is our quality time together
We draw on these little cards and then trade them.
He says little paper is good to draw on and you can make them just the right size.
Those familiar with art already don't need a review of this paper..cause you know this is stuff
so that means those of you reading this should know that its great because the other people stopped reading it.
