Wow. These bibs are AMAZING! I wore these to ride in 30 degrees (18 with wind chill) and was not a bit cold. They kept me very, very warm and wicked away the snowy rain that fell that day. I bet these could easily be worn down to zero degrees, no problem. They are very warm.

I'm a bit puzzled by the previous review that states that there is no chamois. There is. As it says in the listing, this bib is fitted with Pearl Izumi's elite chamois (the orange one). The front is zippered from the neckline to the belly button area. Everything stays in place well while cycling, nothing riding up, down, or around where it's not supposed to be. I rode trails in these and got them all muddy, and they washed up easily in the cold water cycle of my washing machine. Like new again!

The bibs run true to size. They fit me just like all of my other PI bottoms, and I have quite a few. As the "Amfib" title implies, the fabric is a bit like a soft shell jacket, almost like an amphibian skin designed to wick away wind and precipitation. The inside is lined with fleece for added warmth and comfort. I'd say they're ideal for anything from zero to thirty degrees, in wind and/or rain.

One minor complaint that I have is that the back of the "shirt" doesn't quite tuck down into the back of the pants, leaving my lower back exposed to the cold. I had thought that the shirt would be cut long in the back, like a typical cycling jersey. But it's not. Likely, though, this issue for me is due to the fact that I store most of my extra weight in my hips and thighs. So I believe these bottoms rest lower on my waist than they would on a woman who is less (*ahem*) endowed in this area. This is easily remedied, though. I simply put on a tank top and then slip the bib on on top of it. The tank top tucks down into the bottoms nicely. Problem solved!

Don't hesitate to get this bib. It's worth every penny!

I bought these because my regular Pearl Izumi tights are a little cold when I ride around 32 degrees. These are a thicker material than just the thermal tights. I only gave 4 stars because PI advertises as low as 21 degrees but when I tried them at 32 my legs were still a big colder than I wished, however this is going to be different for everybody.

Overall they are really great quality, there is extra material around the knee which I love because normal tights always make me feel so restricted. I am short (5'2") so they are a little long for me but that is something I am used to dealing with. The drop tail is nice to have but I have yet to use it. I do feel like these are very comfortable which is important.

A previous review stated these did not have a chamois, however the ones I ordered said they did in the description and DID come with one. It feels like a light chamois so I do feel like I could easily wear my tights and these over them and double up for the really cold rides.

Fit well. I like the panels
Excellent to use - great to use when cooler or with rain/puddles. The droptail is a life saver.
Keeps me warm but not overheated.Wicks well.
Easy enough to wash and dry
Worth the cost

I use it for everyday use and not competition.

Though it does not have the saddle pad/chamois/cushion. Not a big thing for me

A little too loose in the midsection and the back area (lower back/above the butt) was open and loose and a little bit awkward and uncomfortable. However, it kept me warm and dry during a January gravel ride.

I'm 5'3" so a little long, but lots of movement room.
