I was a bit nervous about buying an Indian mixers off of Amazon especially since many reviews state that some units are used units being sold.

Thankfully, this unit was brand new and works very well. My mom loves it and so do I.

Does a pretty good job at mixing ginger-garlic, dry spices, etc. Even better for wet grinding, mixes ginger very smoothly.

I also like how there are videos on how to use their products.

Lastly, the juicer is very powerful, actually a little too powerful. lol. We've tried to mix some fruits and pulp and everything get pureed. Which if you're into that great but if you're not I guess take sometime to take out the pulp, etc. But again its very powerful.

This is a very good and consistent product , overloads but there is a reset button which makes it easy. The juicer is also great for making mango juice. The Preethi mixer/blender consistently has produced excellent results during two months of use. Its motor is powerful, and the availability of three mixing jars increases its versatility. I believe it is a high-quality product that will provide years of good service.Thanks The 4 jars come very handy. Love it ;)

Just after opening the package, at first glance I could tell that the items packed (especially the jars) were of inferior quality with scratch marks on the plastic parts of the jars and jars were hand wiped leaving the wipe marks and thumb prints all over the jars' steel surface.

I read one such review earlier but thought that it must have been an exception but now learnt my lesson to take such negative reviews seriously.

I bought this product in March 2013 and now its Dec 2015 and its completely conked out. All jars and finally the mixer. One would atleast expect it to last 4-5 years on a an average.But Nope!
The jars stopped working one by one and finally everything stopped.
Maybe it can be repaired, i am not sure.

I the the kind of person who probably used the mixer once a week . At the most.So, less than used 150 times .
The only thing i can suggest future buyers is that if the shelf life is only so much, buy the basic model . Atleast with that one you get spare jars if you want to replace it. Don't bother spending so much on this model.

On first appearance, some parts of this grinder seemed worn off. Is it the packaging or the product or the shipper, I don't know.
Having said that, this grinder works like a charm. We make lots of chutneys, churn out batters and every single time, it gives out great products. Fancy thing is, this particular grinder comes with handy set of jars. We find them very useful. This has a strong motor and we have no problems whatsoever.

One thing I noticed is, the jars leak if we are either too generous with the amounts we put in or we dont hold the caps on the jar tightly. I wish there were some kind of braces on the lids to fix them but this is hardly a concern.

Will definitely recommend to anyone.
