    When I first received these shoes I was very happy with the look and fit. I am in college and I was trying to get away from skater shoes and get a more sophisticated look. They definitely fit that role. However after about 20 days the inner soles on the big toe of both shoes started developing a hole and the rubber in the instep started to shred. The tread also looks like its poor quality. On top of that the outersole white band is starting to pull away from the shoe. I can normally expect about six months out of a shoe, but I know these won't last that long. Since owning these I alternated with several other shoes, and had very minimal use.

    I did give it 2 stars, because it is stylish and good fit. I'm just upset it won't last me a long time at all. It was disappointing buying my first Ralph Lauren shoes and having it fall apart before a month of light use.

    After the reviews on Amazon, I was hesitating to buy it or not. But unlike a lot of comments say, mine are of great quality!! I bought it 6months ago, and they are still in really good shape even with frequent wear over a tough winter.
    The bottom is slippery and I fell once when I just got it but it's to be expected from this type of shoes with smooth soles. And just have to be careful during winter anyways unless you wear studs.
    They fit me perfectly as expected, took my usual size and no problems on that side.

    Not too much to say about it. I really like the design of it and the fit was as expected. After a few months of casual wear this and the grey pair I ordered (so both pairs did this) the heels literally fell apart over time to the point where you could stick your fingers in from the bottom through the sole.

    Now that being said these shoes get pretty great reviews so I either got a terrible batch or after 24 years I just finally started walking really funny cause this has never happened on any other shoes I have owned. Will not be buying again unfortunately.

    They are a little bit wider than expected. They aren't so wide that they fall off, or require a next size down, but the first time you try them on you'll think about returning them. I took a chance and decided to wear them, and im glad i did. they are comfortable, and didn't feel quite so wide after i had them on for a minute. Would definitely recommend.

    The shoes no longer feel wide/ Maybe it took a little bit to get comfortable wit the feel.
    I have worn these less than 10 times, and they have started to crack in the leather where the creases are. I bought them for my nursing school clinicals, and have worn them between 5 and 10 times. I have never worn them in the rain or gotten them wet, but when i looked at them today, the creases had actually cracked all the way through the leather. I don't run in them or do anything strenuous, so im not sure why they are so fragile. I expected more from Polo and $60+ shoes. Definitely won't be buying the leather versions again.
