Used PC-7 until they came out with PC-11. I had first discovered their products back when I was traveling & breaking down cross-country on an old 1964 Triumph motorcycle. JB Weld never quite got the job done or was strong enough or held very long or tough enough to super-cede repairs on gas tanks when fuel came through holes.
Since the 80's the PC products I totally trust and has lived on in not only motorcycle repairs but also on my boat, RV, & pressure washer too! Today I called up their customer service for the 1st time, and they patched me through to a specialist because I needed help in deciding which product I needed to make repairs on the fiberglass siding on the RV which is puklling away from the frame and also rust on frame which needs to be drilled afterwards.
PC-11 and the PC Super Epoxy which I also need to "inject" under some molding... wish I could do that with PC 11.
Anyway, for over 20 years I've trusted the PC products, which btw if you wonder what PC stands for... it's "Protective Coating Company", I never knew that till today when I was trying compare prices.

Oh one more thing: The size of the container, when it reads for example 1 lb: it's split in two, Can A and cab B; which equals 1 lb.

This is amazing stuff. I don't have a boat or anything marine related but PC-11 has come in handy quite a bit over the years. I've used it to patch holes in porcelain, fiberglass, and metal and plastic pipes. Simple to use. Mix part A with an equal part of part B, apply to the hole/tear/problem area, and you're done. It hardens overnight but is tacky within a few hours and will stop a leak immediately. Absolutely essential to have on hand for fast plumbing fixes. On a fiberglass tub bottom a smoothed out blob of this has lasted literally, years. It's not a temporary fix.

One thing though, if you use your fingers to apply, (I use an old butter knife and mix A/B in small disposable containers), try to remember to wear gloves. It's a real pain to wash this off.

Used it to repair rust holes in a leaky steam pipe. It adheres well due to its sticky consistency and high viscosity. It does not run even in a thick layer. The surface being repaired must be very clean. I used a rotating steel brush on a drill to clean the pipe, then wiped the pipe with a wet towel. To repair a wet surface, mix the two parts, then, wait 25-40 minutes before applying. After about 3 hours of setting, it feels like chewing gum. It takes 24 hours to fully harden at room temperature. Heat will speed up the hardening.

I really think that this is a superior product for about 1/4 the price of marine tex.
If you buy a " boating " product expect to pay 2 to 4 times what it's worth. This is a great thick epoxy paste that they say is gray but is actually an off white that matches well with a gel coat on my Grady white tournament 19 and my Chrysler buccaneer sailboat. It's strong as hell sand able and takes paint well. A great economical alternative to all the overpriced marine epoxies our there. Also very easy to mix. 1-1. A super strong product that you can work , carve and sand. Cheap money too !

Actually takes about 3 days to really cure in my cold basement shop, but is very thick and sticky. Cures rock hard. Not for 'poly' plastics as expected, but great for about everything else! Have not tried underwater. Note: the PC7 version is even stickier. Have ample paper napkins & popsicle stick handy for use during working time. It can be a bit messy.

I have used PC-7 for 30 years and it is so strong...unbeatable. You can bond anything to a glass surface and it will not come off. Bought the PC-11 to try and fixed a part on my chainsaw body with it. It broke the first day but I have re-repaired and so far so good. If it weren't for water resilancy and underwater applications I would stick with PC-7.

I love their PC-7 epoxy since it is one of the very few that holds its form and does not sag or flatten out after it is mixed and put in place. It allows me to use it on walls without drips or to form shapes. This one, the PC-11, is more liquid like other epoxies, but I LIKE THE WHITE COLOR. for many applications. The company also tells me that their epoxy is VERY STABLE and that if I don't get around to using up the entire can for many years, it will still be good when I go to use it.
