I have ordered these picked asparagus before and they were OK. My last order was way below standards and they were loosely packed. In other words jar wasn't as full as it should have been. Some of the asparagus spears were slightly larger that a tooth pick, some were so tough they were barely edible. I sent an e-mail to this company several days ago and have heard no response as of today 6/22/2014. It is my opinion they are not interested in customer feedback. This order I received will be my last, since they do not have the courtesy to respond!
